  1. "Moe is their leader."
  2. Nothing to do with anything, but last I saw of her Dawn Wells was still a mighty fine looking woman, which is more than can be said for Tina Louise. "And the rest", my ass ...
  3. Wallace Shawn is a God. That is all.
  4. For more "songs" based Eno, Nerve Net is very good. For ambient, also try Plateau Of Mirror, Apollo and Spinner, the one he did with Jah Wobble.

Just my little "joke" that I think Harper (the Others therapist' date=' Goodwin's wife) looks kind of like an evil version of Rachel Ray. And while I'm sure Michael will be the guy on the boat, I'm betting there will be an even bigger *Actual* surprise at the end of the show. As I've said before, you can usually figure out the surprise near the beginning of the episode, or even the one 10 minutes before the ending, but it's the one right at the very end of the episode that catches you flat footed. [/quote'] Don't make fun of my Rachel Ray...BTW she's Tommy Gavin's wife... But you gotta admit that Andrea "Janet Gavin" Roth looks better as a blonde. BTW, Roth is from Woodstock. One Man Gang, I completely didn't catch that ... I knew she was familiar, but the hair colour threw me off. BTW, I have nothing against Rachel Ray, even have a couple of her cookbooks.

OK, I know I screwed the pooch before with the Quantum Leap thing, and I'm sorry about that. But what is the official position about discussing the *current* season of an ongoing show? I'm actively trying to avoid stepping on people's toes here, but most people who are watching the show are at least up to date as far as the end of last season, do they all need to cover their posts with spoilers to protect the relatively few who haven't watched that far? Might it not be a better idea for the people who haven't gotten as far even as last season to avoid this thread, or at least consider that there will be plot points discussed that go past where they have watched so far? Just as a f'rinstance, in case people think I'm being unreasonable ... last year on another board, I got into a discussion on 24, which I had never seen before. It got me interested, so I then got the previous seasons on DVD. Now , as a result of reading that thread, several key plot surprises were given away to me before I got a chance to watch them myself. It would have been great to have gotten to be surprised by them as everybody else did, but I see it as my own damned fault for reading the thread in the first place. By the same token, I am currently avoiding threads discussing The Shield, because I am now watching the past seasons on DVD. If I, say, record a particular show and haven't watched it yet, I don't expect threads on them to shut down until I get time to watch it, I just don't read them until I am caught up. All IMIO, of course.

[/quote'] Hello worst hidden shocker in TV history if it is, since everyone knows that character will be back this season. I'm hoping Echo rises from the dead. If we're going that way, I hope for the return of blonde doctor ... highly unlikely, I'm afraid.
  10. They're all just a big bunch of jealous meanies.
  11. I like him, he's a lot of fun.

I was right on one guess for last night's episode (no big feat, considering it was pretty much given away in the cast listing at the top of the episode) but completely wrong considering the fate of the main featured character. This whole season has been rock solid, especially in comparison with the first part of last season, and while last night was not as great as other episodes, it was still pretty decent. It had a great mindfrick at the top of the show, Ben being Ben, and evil Rachel Ray ... what's not to love?
  14. Wrong and double wrong ... I find it is awesome ambient music (right up there with Apollo by Brian Eno and Music For Airports by, errr, Brian Eno). Puts me out like a light and sweet dreams. Well worth the price of purchase, as fas as I am concerned.
  15. Got a date, or at least year?
  16. I've missed his last several shows, glad I finally get a chance to see him.
  17. Cool, thanks ... I will check this out when I get home.
  18. I had heard that they had taken down the No Stairway signs because nobody played it anymore.
  19. A vital part of those awesome Miles Davis albums. Thanks a lot, Teo, and RIP.
  20. First Teo Macero now Buddy Vaya con dios, big man, you gave us a lot of great music.
  21. And yet straight karaoke has the additional pleasure of *not* being dissed by Simon Cowell
  22. Would somebody please kick Ralph Nader in the testicles multiple times?
