I skated for years , looks o.k. . Word of advice though .Make top about 8 to 10 inches wide and the base slightly wider than top (trapezoid). More stable , cause if that model isn't fastened down , skaters would knock it all over the place. Also the ability to change heights would be sweet. Just some thoughts . Good luck with your venture.
