  5. The headline killed me here: Townie kids nabbed in Clarke's Beach A report of suspicious activity in a town in Newfoundland's Conception Bay has led to an investigation involving young people from St. John's. RCMP said the force received a report of suspicious-looking people hanging around a property in Clarke's Beach early Thursday morning. Police said two cars, an all-terrain vehicle and a dirt bike are among the items believed stolen by four young people from St. John's. Police arrested a boy, 17, and a girl, 14. Staff-Sgt. Rick Robinson said the pair is accused of stealing a car in Bay Bulls to make their way to Clarke's Beach. Officers apprehended them on a back road, with a stolen ATV nearby. "They were obviously on a spree of committing thefts … Who knows the timeline for these young people, how long they were on the go and how many communities they may have visited," he told CBC News. Robinson said officers believe two young men were also involved. A man, 21, was later apprehended in St. John's, and police were still looking for the fourth suspect. Owl we have to do (for a bit of a lark) is to thrush out a solution with the people manage the venue who in tern could have a chat with someone with a crane to flush out the pigeons albatross the top of the rail of the stage and perhaps all this will blow plover.

  19. A 55-year-old Chatham man has learned the hard way that an E-Bike is considered a motor vehicle under the Criminal Code. Chatham-Kent police received a call about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday from a concerned citizen who watched a man hit a curb, fall over and his head while operating an E-Bike. Police said a witness stated the man refused assistance, picked up his bike and continued on to The Beer Store in Richmond Street in Chatham. The caller followed the man and police located him on King Street West with a case of beer strapped to the E-Biike. The man exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested, police said. The accused was charged with impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample. He was released with a future court date and his vehicle was towed from the road, police said. __________________________ Chatham-Kent police had no problems arresting a robbery suspect early Saturday morning. Police report a 28-year-old Chatham man walked into the Sunoco gas bar on Park Avenue East in Chatham around 4 a.m. and demanded cash from an employee. When officers arrived, the man was standing with his hands behind his back, waiting to be arrested, police said. He charged with robbery and taken into custody for a bail hearing.
