  2. I still kick myself for not being at these shows...but to be honest I didn't even know they existed until a few months later...upon recomendation from a friends older brother I went to check them out in Buffalo...I consider myself very lucky to have seen Brent a mere 10 days before he died...this band certainly changed my life in a big way. At least I got to see them in Hamilton in '92 (without Brent, but with Bruce).

  9. Sorry didn't mean to take away from the joke...sometimes I am to literal for my own good...a fountain of useless knowledge! BTW his real name is Bono Vox Don't ask me why I know so much U2 trivia, I don't even particularly like them...
  10. You can call England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland the U.K. if you want... Just Not Ireland please!
  11. U2 was formed in Dublin I'm pretty sure...which is in the Republic of Ireland which is def. a country. If we're getting picky, I believe a couple of the U2 boys were born in England (the Edge for sure). Also the Corrs were from Dundalk, which although very close to the border with Northern Ireland is still in the Republic...No arguements about Van Morrison though...from Belfast. Oh and AD isn't Elvis Costello born in England?

  14. I have a friend who uses this as a back-up for his D2X...he also uses it when he needs a small camera to throw in his car or take out for fun. He likes it a lot and loves its size and I have seen the images and the quality is excellent. I would personally go for the D200..(about $700 more pricey), but I that may be above your budget. I have used it a few times (I currently have the D100 and love it), and really like it. Anyway I really like the Nikon stuff (although I have a few friends who shoot Canon and they are just as good), so I don't think you can really go wrong!
  15. Hehe sorry guys...I'm going home now, so I'll just let you guys mull it over a little...
  16. Ahhh gotcha. Not sure though, never been...we had a co-op student who went all the time, but I never thought to ask her...unfortunately she's gone now...

Alpha Wave Movement - Frontiers of Silence 10. Pavement - Silence Kit 11. 12. This one may require a cheat? Sorry only "Silence" song I could think of...
  18. Not sure if they will save you though...is this a requirement of your going? Great bands have played there in the past...
  19. Oh I agree with that for sure...I just think that The Chronic influenced a whole generation of rappers (including Eminem) with its "West Coast" sound...plus Dr. Dre produced the Marshell Mathers LP didn't he? And where the hell is "It Takes a Nation of Millions..."? BTW I am not disagreeing with you, or even the list (how can you really argue with opinion?), just having fun with the debate it brings up!
