Wow Ryan Adams on the 22nd and Wilco on the 30th...I think I just had an Alt-Country wet dream. I never get tickets to these small club shows though...

Was just talking about this movie today...really excited to see it. I had no idea that was Outspan...funny. He did look familiar, but I just figured he was in a band I'd seen/heard before. Also never heard of the band The Frames...will definately be checking them out now though. Looked 'em up on wikipedia...they've been around since 1990! The (ex-)bassist actually wrote and directed Once. Hopefully I will get to a theatre to see this one...its hard to catch movies with a 2 year old! Incidentely the soundtrack comes out on June 12th...

Nice...forgot all about this. I'd love to go if I can convince my wife (who is neither a musical or evil dead fan!). Tickets are pretty reasonable too. Just noticed that the "Splatter Zone" tickets are actually cheaper then the ones behind them...too funny.

Ha! Had me scared for a second too! Really liked that article, especially the above quote. I really hate SUV's and all that they represent...with full knowledge, that to some degree there are people out there who really need big trucks for work etc. Unfortuanately 95% of them are completely uneccesary...

yeah I get that from a lot of people...they put on a hell of a show though. Really impressed me with there energy and enthusiasm...

I have to say this show really blew me away...as others have said, they really had Massey Hall up and dancing from the beginning...I found myself shouting out the lyrics along with the rest of the band/crowd (and if you knew me you would know that this is really out of character). I remember making a comment to my wife, that hopefully they play a slow one soon, because I can't take this intenstity much longer... Really loved the posters they were selling (the Canada 2007 ones). Anybody get an extra they want to sell? Fat chance I know, but I didn't bring any cash and my tickets did not have in/out privilages...

I'll be there on Tuesday...got in the first 10 rows so I have to be there early and then go right in...probably grab drink at the Massey Hall lounge pre-show...then head up for the Handsome Furs...really looking forward to this.

I know this seized my imagination when I was 10 years old... To bad I don't get the history channel!

Loved that show...moments of absolute genius... Its really to bad they couldn't release them as is...they have screwed over a few great shows by replacing the music...Anybody watch Platoon? On the DVD there is no Paint it Black as the theme song...there are also more songs missing, but thats the most obvious...kicker is, they don't even mention it on the DVD case. Johnny: Gripping music, huh? Mr Carlson: Yeah, that's good all right. What's the name of that orchestra? Johnny: Pink Floyd. Mr Carlson: Oooh, is that Pink Floyd? Do I hear dogs barking on that thing? Johnny: I do.
