  1. yup - easy to build too - I've got a couple different ones using 6" and 8" drivers. They top out at around 2kHz so they add a lot of 'air down there'
  2. damn I so wish but work on Friday comes early...and a couple cities away...
  3. You are the biggest asshole I don't know. Happy Birthday!
  4. it really was awesome! Well done. The only weird thing was - both Simpsons and American Dad used a similar gag with trapping someone in a pool with the pool cover...unrelated to MMJ yes, but oddly linking the two shows...
  5. wow how could you exceed bandwidth with that shit, hypercompressed video? Can't even read the txt! Animation looks like 'Superjail'...
  6. shit yeah! The 'Easy Meat' on Halloween is easily the most stunning and ripping FZ guitar work I'd never heard before. FACK! The song starts and he can't wait to leap into that solo. PLAY LOUD. Trance-Fusion kinda picks up where 'Shut up n Play yer Guitar' left off... Wazoo is a hell of a treat to hear the jazz band live....best horn section...Sal Marquez and Bruce Fowler kill on this... Joe's Menage is classic late 70's early 80's live Zappa...so is Buffalo.... There are others, can't remember them right now....but that's the meat and potatoes right there...
  7. Yup - I've got a 21" tv that's 24" deep. The living room is not the hightech corner of my house.... Cable for 12 more days....
  8. yup - fantastic night. I think the crowd in that place was twice as loud as fest 8!! It was goosebumps all over...what a way to start it up!
  9. I prefer to live in Robbie Williams Millenium...
  10. Someone set up us the bomb. You are on the way to destruction. Patchoulia, you are totally harshing my buzz. And yes, I will trade copies of any of my mixes for drugs, guns, or semi-nude photos. Even ones of Booche - I can sell those to the US Gov't for interrogation use..
  11. That would be 'da bomb' as the kids say! hell i'll even mail tunes back, like a good old B&P except the blanks will be full!
  12. Schweeeeet! Yeah I'd like the .wav or copies of the CD - I want to pull them off and reassemble them and crank out mp3's the same as I did for all the rest so they are all the same -
  13. I only gave 10-20 of these ones out...and my only copy is totally unrippabble(sp? word?) so if someone has it, a clean CD copy of it would be great or even better, an EAC rip of it to wav would be amazing. Will trade for drugs and guns. Possibly pose semi nude. Rent out parts of my house to questionable citizens. And other such deals of what-have-you....
  14. yup love the mixes...gaps in music used to annoy the shit outta me. I wish I had all my old cassettes - so many mixes - I use to have a radio show at UofW radio - every Wednesday from 6am till 10am...no talking, all music....I recorded all of them but stolen out of my car years ago...damnit!
  15. ooh i've got a couple more to add too - Children Laughing, Playing, Singing isn't on my list and I just found it...but I don't have the Jambands mix anymore - 3 CD's from Tonin's 2001 Jambands fest at the Lanc...I think it was split every 15 mins or so....dunno.
  16. as we are both part of the working class - we will be firing ourselves down that night and back...to be at work bright and friggin' early in the AM!
  17. I vote for Brunodinghy every morning in my own special way...
  18. that was 12/12 first night - opened the second set with saw it again>piper. I and my co-pilot had taken waaaayyyy too much acid and remember.it.vividly. I really liked Saw it Again-good'n'heavy....and that was the first Piper I had ever seen or heard(3rd show I think...)
  19. It touched him deeply - he remembers the workers coming back in from the field...he remembers when the gravy was salty...
  20. Shit - I remember that - brutal...it was him going head over heels down a concrete flight of steps....oh and smoking opium before the first set was a mistake too!
  21. yeah that was a killer intro to the Sat. fest...I thought it might have been Coldcut - saw them a couple times VDJ'ing and it was similar...
  22. Exactly! Don't give me a reason to walk 2 blocks home for a beer...
  23. I don’t have a specific lineup in mind, I just wish they wouldn’t recycle the last couple years of Hillside Outside performers for the Inside fest… Let me break it down: Ani DiFranco% Bahamas* Basia Bulat% Delhi 2 Dublin* Final Fantasy* Hawksley Workman# Martin Sexton# Woodhands* *Hillside 2009 #Hillside 2008 %Hillside 2007 Hell I love Martin Sexton and Woodhands and can do with a couple wicked repeats but all of them? How about some of these? (I had more but deleted this by mistake..) Mainstage: The Hold Steady …And They Will Know Us By The Trail Of Our Dead Cat Empire Sidestage: RWTK TMDP Joe Pernice Fox Jaws Wooden Shjips
