bradm
I've never seen them needed, but emergency contact numbers for people you're driving/camping with are essential when problems arise; knowledge of companions' important medical conditions (e.g., bee/wasp sting allergy) could be life-saving. arcane
I have an air compressor for my car tires. (It doesn't work worth squat on my air mattress, so I have foot pump, too.) Apparently this compressor can act as a generator for stuff that can plug into a car lighter socket. Could come in handy with a 120 V/12V adapter.
