Esau
I agree with Chewie, especially for a season premier. Was it just me or was the premise of the episode (does that make sense?) seem like an older epsiode? I can't put my finger on which one though, just felt like I'd seen it before.
SevenSeasJim
I must say that I found "The War at Home" very funny. Wasn't expecting to find it funny at all.
can-o-phish
New Simpson's...meh...New Family Guy...GOD BLESS PETER GRIFFIN!!! Holy crap, the flash backs to Flintstones, 70's Show, Raiders of The Lost Ark and James Woods babbling on & on "Ooh, a candy!"...laughin' my ass off!!! bouche
I haven't laughed audibly during the Simpsons in a really long time. However, Family Guy was stellar, and American Dad proved to have pushed the envelope into a new low of hilariously and likely offensive humour that made me a fan of the Family guy. That Patrick Stewart character dating Stan's daughter and actually saying "Do you know what I was thinking about while I was staring at the back of your daughter's head? Your promotion!" would have made milk come outta my nose had I been drinking the cold white liquid.
Jaimoe
I actually watched The Simpsons tonight. I check in a couple of times a season - I'm all over the Ricky Gervais episode. Tonight's episode wasn't bad. However, I didn't like the manitee storyline at all. The Homer storyline was pretty good. The Family Guy had some good moments. can-o-phish
So classic how they stretch out scenarios like that one or when Peter bangs his knee and holds it for a very loooong time repeating "ahhh...ahhh...ahhh...ahhh..."Still chuckling over last night's episode...Lois's response to Peter when he asks if she's high was just perfect... c-towns
one of the weakest Family Guys I've ever seen.
Chewie
i gotta say...i am liking american dad more and more each time i see it.i feel its still a little uneven at times but better than 98 percent of the shows currently on the tube
dogatthestation
I would have to say of the three shows that American Dad was the funniest from beginning to end. I thought the beginning of the Simpsons was strong but it really faded in the second half. I found with The Family Guy that less than half of the episode was funny but the funny parts were brilliant and the best laughs (which is often the case with this show for me). Diggzz
I turned the TV off after Simpson's (it was OK, nothin too outragiously funny) but the Family Guy was a repeat no? It was originally supposed to be the season premiere but due to Hurricane related content it has been put on hold for a couple of weeks. Anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks.
