Esau
Well, I can't say I'm sorry to hear about this, I'm glad he's dead. Although I wish he could of suffered more for what he did & was respoinsible for.
boiler
It's a terrible thing to wish anyone dead, but this S.O.B. that's different. I think the world just became a better place without him on it.
mister slippery
saw a good point about this standing in the way of getting a true historical account of the Balkan conflict, but yep, couldnt have happened to a bigger sh!thead.
Calamity Jane
that was a very terse article. It actually made me a little sick to my stomach to think that he may have "died peacefully" in his sleep from his heart condition. When someone has been responsible for so much evil and suffering in this world, it feels somehow "unfair" that he gets to leave it behind without "justice"...whatever that actually means. For all the families he terrorized and ripped apart, this type of death will be a cold comfort at best. I am really struggling with trying to understand just what "justice" can possibily look like though in a case like Milosevic (or Hussein for that matter) How can anything possibly redress such evil, oppression and terror??? Kelly-Anne
It's funny, but the battle that Milo began in fighting the muslim Albanian invasion of his homeland, will be the fight that our children fight will be in against the muslim invasion of Canada in 10-15 years. He just happen to be closer to the islamic powerbase. He was the frontline soldeir against terrorism. History will judge him as a visionary protector of chistian/judo culture. fluffhead77
well that's one way to look at it. I think you're grossly misinformed to his intenions however
bradm
History will judge him as a visionary protector of chistian/judo culture. I had no idea he practised judo.Aloha,Brad
StoneMtn
I thought the same thing when I read that. I was also surprised to learn from Kelly_Anne that Milosevic was inspired by the life of Islam Khan Chisti. Apparently he was a more worldly, multicultural guy than one might have thought. Whitey
Those are scary thoughts! It is too bad he never got to face his charges. History is definately judge him, but not as a visionary.
