Chelsea vs Arsenal

obviously united should stroll to a win on sat, and the london derby being at SB, I'm guessing chavski will take it.

Sidenote:

Arsenal fans will welcome Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole with thousands of fake £20 notes for Sunday's clash at Emirates stadium. (Sic)

Gunners fans are still angry with Cole, dubbed Cashley, over his summer move to the Blues.

A club source told The Sun: "The whole thing is just a bit of banter but it's had a lot of support from the fans.

"Thousands were dished out at the last home game against Tottenham and the plan is to wave them whenever Cole gets the ball.

"People still think the only reason he joined Chelsea was for more money."

The notes are marked Bank of Russia as a dig at owner Roman Abramovich's millions and are even 'signed' by chief executive Peter Kenyon.

FOR FUCK'S SAKE! We're going to have to watch footy for the next 3 years with a facking score tracker blocking out the bottom 2 inches of the facking screen! jebas this pisses me off

And I have to upgrade my cable package. But does this mean The Score will air more than the 3 match block that Sportsnet currently does?

And if I'm not mistaken, the 2:30pm game on Saturday is usually a Fox Sports broadcast and already has the score tracker.

hard to say, ollie... i doubt if anything's set in stone as far as how many they'll air

and as for that 2:30 game it often as "headlines" and other scores running across the bottom portion of the screen but not for the entire match, just for a couple of minutes at a time (and always accompanied by my cursing under my breath)

last year they aired the 11:00 sunday matches and the tracker was ubiquitous. also their analysts were fat headed windbags and putzes with fake accents- brutal

doh that's harsh dude

the other london derby had a cracking finish to it, fairly ho hum first half

i can't believe Hleb couldn't even hit the net in the last 10 minutes there, lamptard hit the post with just a couple of minutes remaining

good stuff all round

and how about Citeh self destructing. if it wasn't for dumb mistakes at the back they would have been in a position to potentially take something from that match

Lumptard- owned

Frank Lampard has criticised Jens Lehmann for a lack of respect after recent comments from the Arsenal goalkeeper.

Lehmann claimed Lampard was 'a specialist in insulting people' in the fallout to Sunday's draw at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea midfielder has been quick to pour scorn on the remark and believes the German international should look closer to home for character flaws.

Lampard revealed he does not hold Lehmann in high esteem following a snub at a London restaurant recently.

"We had words but Lehmann shows no respect to any one on the pitch - and I don't mean that just from my own perspective," Lampard told the Sun.

"He has a way of looking down his nose at people. I certainly didn't say anything that I feel warrants an explanation.

"For me, it's all in the heat of battle and nonsense to start talking to the media about it afterwards.

"But the other week myself and my cousin Jamie Redknapp were out to dinner in a London restaurant and Lehmann was sitting just feet from us on another table.

"We acknowledged him and he completely blanked both of us. In fact, when he left, he walked right past our table and didn't even have the decency to say anything - whether nice or rude!

"Perhaps Lehmann's more sensitive than the rest of us."

I sure am, that guy bleeds blue and not to be a racist or anything like that but the Scottish game has no room for the likes of PLG and he attitude. Scots players will always get the support of the team over the manager and thats the way it should be. The scottish game is a dying thing and they are trying to preserve it. The next coach will probably be Ally McCoist and I bet you might even see Graeme Sounass mentioned too.

stallone is dead to me

anyway, not his best article but still worth the read:

The first vagina I ever saw in real life was huge - really, really huge...

anyone catch that magpies-spuds game then? Martins' goal was a screamer from out of nothing. Paul Robinson sucks.

this just in:

BBC Five Live has had to issue an apology to Everton and 'the people of Merseyside' following some unappreciated observations by Alan Green during his commentary of Sunday's Premiership match with Reading.

Green referred to Sylvester Stallone's appearance at Goodison Park as a "pathetic stunt by a B-list celebrity" and later suggested that the actor left the ground before the end of the game "to see whether his Limousine was on bricks".
