AD
This is on a few of our radars:Sunday Oct 29 - The Hold Steady - ZaphodsIndie snob.THIS should be on all yer radars, they don't play around here much at all and are very very good. Look 'em up.Thursday Oct 26 - Ox - Black Sheep A snippet of their hype, er, PR - "In the tradition of the Byrds, the Flying Burrito Brothers, the Velvet Underground, Frank Zappa - Ox is the incarnation of deconstructed pop & vintage indie from the fertile soils of the Canadian heartland. Studio weary fragments, fragile masterpieces, sonic accidents...’lo-fi’ at its best."I love 'em

bradm
BRAD,MOSES MAYES DATE HAS BEEN MOVED... Moses Mayes will be in Toronto on NOV. 25th Yeah, their tour dates now list their Ottawa show as being on Friday, Nov. 24, at Mavericks, which is a bummer, because Mr. Something Something is playing The Rainbow that night. Mr.SS hasn't played Ottawa since late May, and while they're playing here on Saturday, I'll be at Fat Cats, so I really want to see them in November. I really need another of me.
