NewRider
I don't think I've ever been to a Gov't Mule show in Toronto that didn't allow taping. I'm sure you'll be fine.
zero
Talking Heads. I think you're thinking of Yothers but that was a joke right.

aberg83
Are there cheaper ways to get tickets for this than ticketbastard? $5 in fees, ugh. If the only way is advance tickets at various record stores in Toronto, $5 service fee is cheaper than the cost of gas to drive to/from Toronto just to buy tickets so I guess I'm stuck... anybody know? NewRider
I don't think there is Mule Ticketing for the T.O. show. I'm also not exactly sure if that would be cheaper or not.
bradm
Hey Brad, thanks for looking into this. I will be there too, and taping. I was at the kool haus last week for Primus and getting full rigs in was no problem at all.. very smooth. Shouldn't be any different for mule I would think. I've taped them 4 or 5 times and never once had a problem, albeit those were all at different venues. In fact, all outdoor shows. I'm looking forward to it in any case! Sweet! I was afraid I wouldn't know any other tapers there, and I've never seen Gov't Mule before, so being alone and ignorant might make for a less-than-fun night. I just ordered my ticket. See you (all) there! Aloha, Brad
aberg83
One of my Toronto taping buddies is likely coming out too. He rarely turns down a show. Especially on a Friday night. There will likely be a big section of us.

afro poppa
I think the new CD is over-produced!! I am not sure if Warren's writes all the lyrics, but they are TERRIBLE!!!your kidding right?
Cully
I am serious...I think that a ten year old child could write better lyrics and the first single off the album sounds like it would be perfect anthum for Y108.

zero
There's kind of an odd physical similarity between Yothers and Weymouth.
slavetothegroove
My first time seeing Mule too, should be a soul wretching performance. There's a bunch of us heading down from Ottawa, anyone thinking about before or after parties? Hehehehe Steph

bradm
For those who are going, this is the most recent uploaded show by the opening act.I gave it a listen, and it's not bad. Not great, pretty mainstream blues/rock/soul, with competent musicianship.Aloha,Brad
Cully
I think that Warren is a great guitar player and I plan on going to the show. I can't believe that you like the 'new' sound of Mule. That first single is CRAP!!!

I can't believe that you like the 'new' sound of Mule. That first single is CRAP!!!what single? I didnt realise Mule had singlesI love the new sound...Andy Hess is a killer bassist and gets better each time I see him and Danny Louis is really starting to come into his own and adds a different level of sound to the band. These guys are tight and make awsome music that has some actual history in it... Edited November 22, 2006 by Guest

zero
Mule tends to be able to dig deep. Can't see them playing too many deep cuts though if Gordie's hammering away.

Not too mention the wicked choice of covers in the second set...could you imagine, I wonder what the people at this show were thinking when they heard the first notes of Helter Skelter to open the set..
