ollie
Happy Birthday David!!Anyone see Bowie's guest spot on the BBC show Extras? The parody song he performed was brilliant and such a wonderful pastiche of his style.Bowie is probably my favourite artist of all time. I hope he has quite a few more birthdays, and at least one more tour left in him!
secondtube
Ollie, Bowie is easily in my favorite three artists of all time....he could be number two next to Neil Young. I hope he's doing it up in Style!
Guest Low Roller
I remember his 50th b-day party at MSG... That was a fucking GREAT show.I wonder what he has planned for his 60th (besides Placebo).

hamilton
Hooray for David Bowie who, even when he releases a flop, is still at least trying to do something new instead of resting on his laurels.

secondtube
agreed!and i just heard on the news that he is digitally remastering and rereleasing all of his old albums (some 18 of them) as well as releasing a new album, and starting a new tour in April. not too bad for a 60 year old ass kicker! zero
I just watched The Man Who Fell To Earth for the first time the other day. I sort of liked the straight plot (recluse millionaire) but was clearly not on enough drugs to appreciate the rest of the weirdness. There was a lot of bush in the movie though, which was a plus.
