MarcO
alright, I don't know if I think it's *better* than the original because I haven't heard the original for years - but as a contribution, I'll add a kickass Canadian "jam"band cover (bonus points: it's been released!). Cover songs played by Canadian jambands that do better than the original.1. Kool and the Gang - Jungle Boogie (Diesel Dog)2. Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills (Slammin Jack)3. Donna Summer - I Feel Love (The New Deal)4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11.12.

StoneMtn
Didn't these have to be official releases? I thought of Slammin' Jack, for instance, but to my knowledge they only have one disc and it has no covers. (I don't even think that song is on the Bonfire Fest disc from 2005, which is sort of a 'release'; but I'd have to check my copy at home to be certain.) AD
the term 'jamband' means they have to play jazz, and the term 'better' means it has to be Slowcoaster-style jazz.
