Patchoulia
A friend of mine at work participates in this big (charity) trivia competition every year in Ottawa. Part of the competition (to be completed beforehand) involves listening to a bunch of clips of music and identifying the songs. The rules state you can use any means necessary (i.e. asking friends, internet searches etc.) to determine the indentity of these piecees of music.Anyway, she asked for my help. With a resource such as the Skank at my disposal, her team is bound to ace this portion!Note: The song titles are in alphabetical order.A-AqualungB-Blue MondayC-Curried SoulD-Down by the GlensideE-Enter SandmanF-Feel Good Inc.G-Green Eggs & HamH-HoedownI-I feel fineJ-K-Kosha Nostra Theme L-Love Will Tear Us ApartM-Mundian To Bach Ke N-New Years dayO-On BroadwayP-ParalyzerQ-Quarter to ThreeR-RockitS-(Theme for) Shin Jingi Naki TatakaiT-Town Called Malice U-UmbrellaV-Voodoo ChildW-Walking After MidnightX-X-OffenderY-YMCAZ-Zoom Zoom Zoom

Patchoulia
Hmmmm. On Broadway and Walking After Midnight work with the alpha-theme. Not sure how the William Tell Overture works with the letter "H".I listened to that Dylan clip about 25 times..I'm kicking myself that I can't figure it out... larry_llama
h is definitely hoedown. track 6 here (though this is a way better versio than the classical one they used in the mix)http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7398714&BAB=Eit's also known as "the beef commercial song" hahas is weird because it's, i think, "Battle Without Honor Or Humaity - Tomoyasu Hotei" from the kill bill soundtrack. there is another track on that cd called super 16 which would fit but im pretty sure that clip is battle without....track 9 here:http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/6311217/a/Kill+Bill+Vol.+1.htm Edited October 18, 2007 by Guest
