KarinGarage
i just bring pints in right in my purse. the key is to have one with a bunch of pockets that they can't possibly check them all, make sure the bottles are plastic so they're not so heavy and so 2 bottles dont clink together while they're checkin (learned that one the hard way)
elemeno
you can also fill up a baby stroller pretty good. if you have one of those big strollers you might even get a mini keg in to a show.
KarinGarage
that's a good idea, i might try that one, even though i don't have a kid. or maybe i'll get a wheel chair and just sit on the bottles, what're they gonna do, ask me to stand up so they can check? DevO
I brought a small bottle of vodka in last night by putting it in my hoodie.. Its really easy to get by security at Bluesfest from what I've seen; don't worry!
canadianphan
we use the stroller all the time. we have a chariot for our girls, so half a dozen tall boys are no problem. At "IT" my buddy Steve, smuggled a 60 of CC, 2 x 2L of coke and a bag of ice in to the show by putting it in a garbage bag and pretending to be site staff while I distracted the security guard. That was a messy night...
Im going home Donny
Strollers with child are pretty good.
Calamity Jane
you are all clever, clever buggers!I mourn the long-gone days of booze-smuggling ease with the strollers. Now I just brazen my way in past the youngest kid working a gate. (A bag of nacho chips & a couple of dips on top of wrapped cans has always worked, too) btw, I have always thought Bluesfest was very cool on this score: there are MANY venues that will not allow off-site food to be brought in. Northern Wish
I brought 8 beers in to BF Saturday night in my raincoat, just by simply walking with it in my hand and the beers stuck under the excess coat.
