zero
I just listened to the clip BradM mentioned and that's exactly it- I still can't tell what the line is. It's funny how a mishearing and misreading of a song can totally change it's meaning for you. I'm sure we all have countless examples like that. GUITARZAN
Yeah, the song is actually about struggling with drugs and the drink during the heavy days of tour...here are the lyrics as I remember them...You called me over, so I came overNow, tell me all the reasons that you had to go awayYeah, tell me all the reasons that you had to go awayFlip off the turntable, and turned on the evening cableWatching on a T.V that no one else could seeTuned in to a T.V that no one else could seeAnd waiting on somebody to tell me who won?? Was a time when we were able, On the line our favorite fableSpending all our money on a larger self esteemMaking it like nothing was ever a big dealCrash and burn, it hurts a little, pick it up it ain't that simpleGoing on a feeling that was never really thereYeah Going on a feeling that was never really thereAnd waiting for somebody to tell me who won......who won..... c-towns
Pre-party and After party at 62 Westmoreland Avenue (Bloor and Dufferin)Its obviously across town from the show so i'm considering stocking cold beer and selling it at the after party ($2 each, 3 for $5) so people don't have to travel with booze, any interested parties respond here if you want it to happen. Absolute_Route
How does one obtain advance tickets for this show? Also, I'll second the hope that there is a little wiggle room with the set times...... having the fatties end at 11:00 seems a bit on the early side. It would be nice if there was some energy in the room for their set Just my 2 cents.Cheers
