Dr_Evil_Mouse
Tempting, though the weather reports for Ottawa haven't sounded too promising. I might have to enjoy it vicariously through those blessed with cloudless skies.

phishtaper
we were lucky in guelph i guess because we had a mostly clear sky. i looked out my window around 3:00am and saw the moon. was kinda dark and reddish but i could still see it. it contrasted quite dramatically with the almost pure white full moon later around 6:00am. i guess it would have been best to have fired up the expresso maker and lounged out overnight to watch the whole 5-hour show, but it was way too cold for that. i like space. it's cool. got a star walker ap for the ipad that shows all the constellations and planets. it's really cool. timouse
we hauled butt out of bed around 2:30 and again at 3 and watched from outside for ten or fifteen minutes until we worked out that we could use jennifer's spotting scope from inside the livingroom window. well worth getting out of bed for

larry_llama
now we all know that the moon is not made of green cheese. But if it was made of bbq spare ribs, would you eat it anyways?
