Velvet
So we all know Weird Al is coming, but what else? I see Rod Stewart will be in Canada then - July 11 in Nfld and July 12 in Kitchener. I'd like to see him again. Davey Boy 2.0
AD
Foo Fighters have 3 days during Bluesfest unscheduled between Toronto and Camden. I'd bet heavily on that.

bouche
I'm at least looking forward to Weird Al. My cynical attitude towards him has shifted to intrigue. Still hoping for Tom Petty. He's wide open...no dates scheduled at all! Is there any point in guessing shitty pop and new country acts?
bradm
There's a triple-bill tour this summer, Def Leppard, Styx, and Tesla, which includes a Toronto show on July 14, with July 13 and 16 open. Aloha,Brad
boiler
I just saw on groupon you can get tickets for $20 for that def Leppard show in July, still lots of time between now and then to grow a mullet
phorbesie
hmm, was thinking of checking out Def Leppard in May, but I will wait and see if they are at Bluesfest!
AD
I really doubt Def Leppard will be playing here twice in three months, especially if the Bluesfest lineup is due to be released before their Lansdowne show.
phorbesie
good point!i didn't want to spend money on a Lansdowne ticket, but might see if there are any cheap ones out front on the day of.
Esau.
just taking the piss, really- first time I saw that image I didn't even notice it said "Pipers" A close friend of mine (also a piper) who was a reserve player for the Canadian band, Enter The Haggis has met Red Hot Chilli Pipers a few times dragged me out to a show in Toronto a couple years back. Entertaining band (depends which one you see I suppose). Serious amount of energy, but family type show overall, but still some freaks in attendance. Basically, worth checking out if you enjoy the pipes and they happen to play a fest you're at. Jaimoe

Hartamophone
Brian Wilson and Rodriguez just announced a tour that puts them in the right place at the right time, although days off are scarce. I also note that Rodriguez isn't playing the lone Canadian date, which makes me think there might be border issues:June 18 Saratoga, CA—The Mountain WineryJune 19 San Diego, CA—Humphrey’s Concerts by the BayJune 20 Los Angeles, CA—The Greek Theatre June 23 Austin, TX—Frank Erwin CenterJune 24 Dallas, TX—Verizon Theatre at Grand PrairieJune 26 Atlanta, GA—Fox TheatreJune 27 Nashville, TN—Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater June 29 Philadelphia, PA—The Mann Center for the Performing ArtsJune 30 Wantagh, NY—Nikon at Jones Beach TheaterJuly 1 Holmdel, NJ—PNC Bank Arts CenterJuly 2 Boston, MA—Blue Hills Bank PavilionJuly 4 Toronto, ON—Sony Center*July 5 Detroit, MI—Fox TheatreJuly 6 Chicago, IL—Ravinia Festival July 8 Denver, CO—1STBANK Center July 10 Las Vegas, NV—Chelsea Theater at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas July 12 Seattle, WA—Benaroya Hall – S. phorbesie
Wishful thinking i know but "There will be Canadian cities on the tour, which could include a festival." or do we think this is going to be that new Way Home fest or whatever it's called? http://songmango.com/rolling-stones-to-tour-north-america/
bouche
http://stpaulandthebrokenbones.com/ St. Paul and the Broken Bones are fantastic and have been popping up alot on my radar.
