Also, when its complete, you can rename the .VOB files as .mpeg, .mpg, or something simila and watch in windows media player.....good luck! rabidmonkey Posted February 5, 2004 Report Share Posted February 5, 2004 I got a HP DVD burner for christmas but it only used +R and burned at 2X. I brought it back and got an LG. It kicks ass, multi-format and good speed. (8X max write, but the cheap DVD's are only 4X so I haven't tried it a 8X yet) It was pretty cheap too, $170-180 after rebate at Futureshop. I had hoped it was a good one, and it did look like it. I would like to test a burned DVD on my DVD player. I'm worried that I need a new player. The damn thing won't play VCD's or CDR's. I was super impressed with the quality and awed once again by the power of the internet. The sound is incredible too. Thanks a lot for shooting and sharing. If you have shots of the crowd at HG, I might be in it. I'm pretty sure I talked to a camera at one point, but there were tons of people with cameras. That night got foggy.
