  1. so helpful. Lorazepam wouldn't be put into a drink I don't think. Wouldn't one just take it? Why would someone put lorazepam in a drink?
  2. a guy i work with experienced something at a wedding recently. basically he blacked out after 10 pm. he remembers nothing. he only had a couple of drinks and his phone pictures show all kinds of pics of him with people he didn't know. he looked toasted. pics at 8 pm, he was fine. later, he was vomiting and passed out. the next day he felt weird and didn't have a typical hangover. he thinks he drank a drink with something in it by accident. we're guessing that he picked up a drink with GHB in it. any thoughts?
  3. I made the Thomas Kellar one in Ad-hoc at home and it was incredible. that is seriously a great thing to make for people. I always wanted to have a fried chicken party. It takes time though especially with the brining process. With only one deep fryer even the cooking part takes extra time to account for. but they do hold well in the oven. this is the same recipe: http://momofukufor2.com/2010/03/ad-hoc-buttermilk-fried-chicken-recipe/
  4. I heard that elmdale isn't selling tickets. Not sure if that's fact. Can anyone confirm this? I have to say, $18.50 to see SMMD there is pretty damn sweet still.
  5. google docs works great. you get a bunch of free space and for $5/year you can have 20 gigs added.
  6. http://nathanmoore.fanbridge.com/campaigns/show.php?id=761314&src=facebook Nathan Moore is trying a new experiment. He's calling for all musicians to contribute to his next album. Basically he's setup a site where he's loaded it up with blueprints and tracks of his new songs and wants people to take them, load up garage band and record parts to send in. He's got a nice little tutorial on how to do this over here.
  7. Don't you mean...I got super lazy and didn't feel like leaving my house? Wait' date=' that sounds like your brother. [/quote'] I was hoping someone, anyone, would take pity and offer to pick me up. I couldn't afford $25 ticket + 2 cab rides. I should have been more clear.
  8. I just got drastically remembered about this happening. I didn't even clue in that this would be at 10:30. I don't think I should drive.
  9. Ah' date=' quel parfait timing! Bravo Michel!!! Hey, I don't get a language bonus at my work?! Bonne fête Mike!!! OG = Old Guy...haha! [/quote'] You quoted this: BBB language ($800 bonus)
  10. Thank you all for the kind wishes. I got a wonderful birthday gift today. A letter of offer for a new job in a new department with a sweet promotion. BBB language ($800 bonus) which means I don't ever have to take french training again unless I want to bump those up to C's. It's a very unique gift.

  13. I'd do the same thing. Imagine a car failing and almost killing you. You'd never want to drive in one of their cars again.

  19. sweet-assss. The drive fit perfectly in my enclosure and is now setup as my Time Machine backup on the mac. It's nice to have the security of a backup when all your photos, music and whatever historic files from the last 5 years are on one machine. I'm blown away at how much space we can get for such a low price. I remember my first 8 GB drive was close to $300. Of course my very first hard drive was 120 MB while everyone else I know only had about 32 MB. I went all out with my first PC.
  20. get the imageshack iphone app. http://imageshack.us/content.php?page=iphone
