I used to love playing the Tool songs on my Guitar Hero drum kit until it broke. :-( I saw Tool twice...the first time at Porter Hall at Carleton University in 1994...I had to bring Ollie to the hospital after that gig because he got hit in the eye (correct me if I'm wrong Ollie...I think this happened at that show huh?). Second time I saw them was at Scotiabank Place...I'd go see them again if they came to Ottawa but only if I got good seats. I kinda lost respect for the singer after I watched a boring documentary about his vineyard...maybe I was just tired when I watched it...there was a lot of talking.

Oh my. Talk about bad luck for that place! We were just there last week to spend some more of our Kahoot coupon, but as usual, we didn't get there early enough in the day, so there was not much choice. And the girl at the cash told us that they're not even taking any pre-orders until after Christmas because they would not be able to fill the orders at this point. So yeah, all the lost meat was probably Christmas dinners. And at this point, I think they should stop selling those coupons. I still notice some for sale now and again, yet when we try to spend ours, it's not easy! Takes a lot of planning to spend it!

Is the Saturday jam gonna be available on that web site too? I missed most of this tonight.

Yeah, now I know why I never went in a limo. Not worth it just to be able to drink pricey crappy arena beer.

Does Prince play at those after parties, or is it just some of his musicians? Or is this just a way for bars to get people to line up for no reason at all?

Did you find a little bit of hate before the show? I'm working on getting rid of a bad cold! Argh. It's wayyyy too sunny and warm over here...doesn't help with the mood of a metal show. I found out about it from Ollie; he used his mouth and words to communicate the news to me. R.I.P. My first Apple memory was pretty late. I worked at a small publishing house here in Ottawa in the mid 90s and I used an original Macintosh to do their accounting.

Sounds like a high school dance. Except there was no coffee at my high school dances, or snacks. But I remember water. I suppose I could drink lots of coffee if I go to this and get a buzz that way.

I bought a bottle a few weeks ago...haven't tried it yet. It's a cool enough weekend to drink a harvest ale.

I went to the brewery when I visited my sister in Vancouyer years ago, that's the only reason I know about this beer. I can't remember if I liked what I tasted though, so I guess it must have been just OK!
