  1. I've got a line on a recording too. The guy that pulled that source is a pretty frequent stealth taper. If I find it is better quality I will let you know. Setlist: Set 1: (48 Mins) The Wind Here Comes My Baby The First Cut Is the Deepest Dying to Live (Edgar Winter cover) Sitting Last Love Song Thinkin' Bout You Where Do the Children Play? Roadsinger Bitterblue Maybe There's a World / All You Need Is Love (The Beatles cover) People Get Ready (Curtis Mayfield cover) If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out Set 2: (63 Mins) Big Boss Man (Jimmy Reed cover) Editing Floor Blues Oh Very Young I Was Raised in Babylon Wild World You Are My Sunshine (Jimmie Davis cover) Foreigner Suite / Heaven Tell 'em I'm Gone Gold Digger Another Saturday Night (Sam Cooke cover) Morning Has Broken Peace Train Father and Son Encore: Moonshadow Miles from Nowhere
  2. I think it will be an announcement that they will play a full album each night (plus a super long encore of course).
  3. While I have loved the venue and the fest in the past, the lineup needs to be better than this for me to consider going for a third year in a row. Gord just doesn't have what it takes to play outdoors anymore (IMO). Last year it felt that they have gotten a bit greedy with the number and types of vendors which impacted our business. And finally the change back to Labour Day weekend is not a plus.
  4. I find his writing to be unneccessarily snarky at times and I always wonder who pissed him off that day. LOL.
  5. I was at this show last year and it was nothing short of amazing. This year they are webcasting the whole thing. $10 for SD or $15 for HD. Check it out: A webcast of The Complete Last Waltz is available via LiveDownloads.com. The broadcast is available for purchase in both standard and high definition formats. Show time is listed as 8 p.m. ET. The Antibalas horn section featuring Stuart Bogie, Raymond Mason, Martin Perna, Jordan McLean and John Altieri as well as Kevin Morby (Woods, The Babies), Kenny Siegel and folk-rocker Marc Black are the latest additions to a lineup that already included Joe Russo, Sam Cohen, Scott Metzger, Dave Dreiwitz, Marco Benevento, Jeff Chimenti, Jon Shaw, Josh Kaufman, Nels Cline, Cass McCombs, Elvis Perkins, Eric Slick, Jason Gallagher, Toby Leaman, Delicate Steve, Nicole Atkins, Jocie Adams, Binky Griptite, John Roderick, Jeremy Black, Eric D. Johnson, Ryan Miller, Alecia Chakour, Matt Trowbridge, Matt Vasquez and The Parkington Sisters. http://www.livedownloads.com/live-music/0,11665/The-Complete-Last-Waltz-mp3-flac-download-11-26-2014-The-Capitol-Theatre-Port-Chester-NY.html If you've read this far, do you know if I would be able to share my login- as is possible with Phish webcasts?
  6. Yes. That said, I might actually be checking this event out.
  7. I love that venue. I'm going to have to plan a business trip through there that week. Do you think this will sell out, should I buy in advance?
  8. Take what you need without it counting towards your downloads until midnight Sunday. Get your ratios up phanners!
  9. There are folks in the music industry that have been whispering today's headlines for years. I think that this is way bigger than a jilted ex-lover and a former colleague but let's see how it all plays out. It is concerning that private lives are no longer private, but in this case the accused may not be worthy of discretion.
  10. Eddie Vedder had some kind words and did a bit of a tribute to Ikey during their show in Detroit last night.
  11. "The Who" play Joe Louis Arena on Oct 17 2015. The pre sale is today: http://www.ticketmaster.com/the-who-hits-50-detroit-michigan-10-17-2015/event/08004D48AC352EE3?camefrom=CFC_oecom_DRW Buyers will have a whole year to decide if they chose correctly from the Signature, Ultimate, Diamond, Emerald or Sapphire VIP Packages. What a fucking joke.
  12. I'm loving it so far. I suspect they will be getting my credit card number soon.
  13. http://thebaybridged.com/2014/10/01/mark-kozelek-war-drugs-showdown-fillmore/#.VDRWyPldWSo Like any successful musician, Kozelek has been hitting the festival circuit, but he ran into some problems when The War on Drugs‘ sound was bleeding into his at the Ottawa Folk Festival. Can you guess how he reacted? According to Exclaim.ca: Kozelek attempted to launch into the album’s confessional “Dogs” before noise from the main stage drew the singer into a couple of false starts, prompting him to address the crowd with, “Who the fuÇk is that?” When audience members jovially informed him that it was Philadelphia band the War on Drugs, Kozelek replied by saying, “I hate that beer commercial lead-guitar sh!t” before exclaiming, “This next song is called, ‘The War on Drugs Can Suck My fuÇking Dick.’”
  14. Once. And that is part of the awesomeness of this cover. Ride on Ryan, ride on.
  15. I am completely shocked over here..... I got GA floors for the only shows I requested for!
  16. I can't make it work either. Find the link at Consequence of Sound: http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/09/blitzen-trapper-covers-ryan-adams-to-be-young-is-to-be-sad-is-to-be-high-listen/
  17. Do you consider all reviews of the arts that aren't glowing, complaints?
  18. I wasn't complaining, I just wasn't really impressed with it. I expect a lot from Ryan and this one just wasn't up to snuff IMO. Other than the lyrics, I hear a pretty generic rock album that I have heard 100's of times before.
  19. Blitzen Trapper covers Ryan Adams on the soon to be released "While No One Was Watching" 20th anniversary tribute to Bloodshot Records. Check it out here: http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/09/blitzen-trapper-covers-ryan-adams-to-be-young-is-to-be-sad-is-to-be-high-listen/
