  1. Bwahaha I saw the article this morning and knew you'd be interested. If I play my cards right maybe I can work the gig and steal some of her tissues or a guitar pick for your stalker shrine?! From my past experience this could literally be a two or three song performance. No matter how much Sarah gets your panties in a knot this will be a rip off if she is all you are going for.
  2. You may want to check out Tennessee Willems on Wellington beside the Elmdale. Nice oven fired thin crust pizza there!
  3. Do I need an account to download this? Is it invite based? Its still up at www.wcqj.com and the segment starts in Part 5 at about 20:40. "They were all up in my grill." The torture never stops.....
  4. I was reminded of it when I read this on jambase: Original Sin, the new album from INXS, is featured this week on AOL Music's Listening Party . The entire album, streaming all week (February 28 - March 7), features new recordings of the band's signature hits chosen by and re-imagined with some of the world's finest musicians including Ben Harper, John Mayer, Rob Thomas, Pat Monahan, Tricky, Nikka Costa and more. Listen now at AOL Music. The digital album version of Original Sin is currently available for purchase exclusively on Amazon.com with pre-orders being taken now for the CD version slated for release on April 5. Tracklist 1. 5. This hasn't been mentioned so I wonder if you guys already know, but the whole "Kick" album by INXS is available on Becks Record Club. http://www.beck.com/recordclub/index.php/category/inxs
  6. You might have to wait for the spring thaw with all of the snowplow activity last night!

  8. I just heard from my co worker who is privy to this kind of information: The Sens were very active yesterday leading up to the trade deadline. They were fielding and making offers but couldn't make any moves that interested them. They were offered Richards, but balked as they are waiting for the next 2 to 3 years to be competitive- not selling the farm to bring in FA's and lose them before things get turned around. They weren't interested in depleting the farm and are quite happy with the 11 draft picks they have in the next draft. Melnyk has a plan in place to win the Cup in 4 to 5 years. Take it for what it is- water cooler gossip; but this source is closer to an NHL organization than anyone I have ever known.
  9. If cocaine could call into a radio show it would sound just like Charlie Sheen.
  10. From PT: "www.wcqj.com will have it up around 11am I think it was in the third part of the show"
  11. ^^ Wow, I finally find out I am not the only one in that boat.
  12. Stern's podcast gets upped around 1pm daily. I'll post it if I find it....
  13. From his call in to the Stern show this am: Howard - "You are an amazing drug taker." Charlie - "Thank you" http://charliesheenhasthebloodofatiger.magnify.net/
  14. Or hypothetically he could also wait until April 1st when the sales tax exemption returns again. It a weird ass law, but clothes and footwear under $110 are considered a necessity and therefore not subject to the tax. In Mass its $75 and under for just about everything except belts! What a wonderful world....
  15. Arnott to the Caps for Steckel.
  16. If you really want your girlfriend to have a good time and ensure she wants to move there, take her to the Century 21 Department store near the World Trade Centre site. Its like Winners for really nice clothes!
  17. If you season cast iron with cooking oil its usually good to go.....
  18. I stopped in just after the place opened on Sunday morning just to check it out. While I found it to be very expensive, everything (except the apple turnover) was delicious! Cheese, green pepper and rosemary loaf: $8. Much like AD's experience, I don't want to know the calorie or fat content- because it was so damn good. Yes for $8 a loaf of bread should be, but this made me forget how much it cost. Cinnamon Bun: $2.50. I loved this as it wasn't soaked in icing or cinnamon. Just enough flavor so that the delicate pastry still shone through the sweetness. Lemon Tart: $4. Probably the best one I have ever had. Its tough to make a lemon anything stand out, but the filling tasted so tart I would be surprised if it isn't handmade with lemons on site. Perfect thin but crispy crust. Apple Turnover: $2. Meh. Good pastry but nothing special. You can probably do just as well at the grocery store. I'll be going back to continue to sample the wide variety of bread they had and some more lemon tarts- but I'll pass on the overpriced pastries.
  19. I think its going to be a boring day as most of the top contenders don't really have any cap space to work with. I wish Detroit had a few extra mil and could make an offer on Vokoun!
  20. Its trade deadline time- gotta shake things up! :nhl:
  21. Hey assneck I worked hard on this one. No one knows how many games Johan is going to play and I based the trade on the value of the starting tender I was giving up. McCabe just got back from the IR, I think those stats are a little misleading. I think you boys spend too much time circle jerking in Booches basement....
  22. ARA in Markham in 93 was my first multi band day long concert event- not including Rock n Roma or several Edgefests that my parents drove me to ;-) I remember Lanois mesmerizing the crowd into silence- it was nothing like the scene a year later; and that Midnight Oil absolutely tore the place apart. And the Rheos were in fine form closing with one of the best Horses I had or possibly will ever see.
  23. The event I am speaking of definitely took place at Molson Park in Barrie, but according to this listing it was not a ARA but rather a Canada Day show: Treble Charger, The Mahones, Eric's Trip, Change of Heart, The Rheostatics, Jane Siberry, The Odds, Spirit of the West, Daniel Lanois, The Tragically Hip - Fri July 1, 1994, Molson Park, Barrie, Ont.
  24. Frank Lloyd Wright FTW! June 8 is also celebrated by Boz Scaggs, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Nancy Sinatra, Bonnie Tyler, Kanye West, Joan Rivers, Jerry Stiller, Rob Ray and a good ol St Catharines boy Bryan McCabe who was born in the same hospital to the same nurse one year before me.
