It's my understanding in the new year Matt will tour in support of his solo CD. When he does he will not be backed by El Torpedo, but by a number of musicians including Dale Murray and Serge Samson from the Guthries. I would assume Serge will play bass, but, from what I can tell, there's been no permanent change to the El Torpedo line-up. I know there are some promo photos (w/Dale Murray in them) out there for that tour.

haha perhaps. All promotions walk a fine line between creating excitement or killing it. Fact that this one has deteriorated into a long running joke and based on comments/threads like this one it seems, for some folks, the line has been crossed....a separate forum might help.

John Lennon was an artist whose legend was as large when he was alive as it is now that he is gone. He was truly one of a kind....and greatly missed. RIP John.

I doubt that flowers or monuments are going to slow people down or dissuade them from driving drunk. Perhaps what it does is remind those who choose not to drive this way why they make that choice. For me flowers is enough. When you get into monuments and maintenance etc you turn a simple gesture of remembrance into some sort of business transaction. For me anyways, I would look at it differently.

Are you kidding? That would take most of the fun out of what has essentially become one big joke. But please try.
