The only forums that are worth having IMO are: Food (love it!) Sports Politics Gamers WTB/WTS That's it, that's all. The Slip forum is ridiculous. For a couple of weeks there, there was a ton of Slip threads in the Cavern, it was a bit much, but the activity of that band just isn't justifying their own thread anymore. What are they doing a show a year now that we all get excited about? I always miss what little news goes on with them because it's in a dead forum. Yeah, I know, but when they're played as often as the Dead play these two songs, they have to be considered part of their catalogue. If you're going to cover a song, do it, and then try another song next time. The sheer repetition of these covers is probably why I hate them so much.

Twice this week I've had sprout sandwiches for lunch. I have enjoyed them more than almost any lunches I've had in previous months. Nice, light, tasty and no regrets. I just do whole wheat bread, mayo, cucumber, sprouts, tomatoes, salt and lots of pepper. Mmmmmmm.

My first step would be to ask those attending if they or the organization they work for would be willing to donate anything. They already have involvement, a relationship to the happy couple and a reason to want to help out. You'd be surprised with what people can get from their employers.

That's funny Backbacon. After our wedding in June we were "stuck" with a case of hard liquor. Jack Daniels, Jager, Rum, Scotch, Vodka and Canadian Club. We just learned to drink hard liquor. It's actually made marriage more fun than we thought it would be! We're finally reaching the end of the case. Good luck PP on organizing the S&D.
