  1. If any of you are planning to go to any Sens games between now and the end of the season, and you want to pay only $5 for parking (instead of the usual $10) send me a PM. I've got a couple of extra parking passes.
  2. Lalime got a shutout last night in his first game of the season! I wasn't even aware that he's with the Blackhawks now.
  3. While he was gone to get the security guards you should have "copped" a feel from his wife!
  4. I hate to break this to you but the train to the Chateau Laurier stopped running over 30 years ago. Enjoy your stay in the capital!
  5. I've totally lost count of the number of times I've seen The T. Hip. Our seats were actually on the floor, sec. C row 27 (Sorry I didn't see you BWM!). Dude behind us spewed on the floor towards the end of the show which detracted from our enjoyment, but had a good time nonetheless. Not the best Hip show I've seen - not really diggin' the tunes from the new album. But, that said, I still think it was a really awesome concert. Here's Friday night's setlist from the link Kanada Kev posted above: 1: The Lonely End Of The Rink 2: New Orleans Is Sinking 3: Grace, Too 4: Bobcaygeon 5: Family Band 6: Ahead By A Century 7: In View 8: Poets 9: Fiddler's Green 10: World Container 11: Springtime In Vienna 12: At The Hundredth Meridian 13: Long Time Running 14: The Kids Don't Get It 15: Fully Completely 16: Wheat Kings 17: Yer Not The Ocean 18: Three Pistols 19: Blow At High Dough 20: The Drop-Off 21: Like A Rolling Stone 22: Little Bones
  6. I'm not sure where I'm sitting as my friend has the tickets. But I think it's in sec. 103
  7. What pisses me off is that I didn't think of starting a grinds my gears thread before you did!
  8. There was a similar thread about a year ago started by Booche... Grinds My Gears
  9. I think it's time to join the French in catching a few zzzzzz's. ::Puts feet up on desk, leans back::
  10. If you look at it that way, Stewart and Colbert are both whores. Just about every guest on those shows has something to sell: A book, a movie, or now, an operating system. Even the prime minister of Pakistan was on the daily show promoting his book.
  11. C'mon you computer geeks! My "blue screen" joke was hilarious! I wonder how much Microsoft paid to have Gates on the Daily Show last night, pimping Vista like it was a new movie or a book.
  12. And I bought my first ever acoustic bass guitar from you!
  13. shouldn't this be in the food forum?
  14. Yeah! He can have a "blue-screen challenge".
  15. Marge: Ooh that sounds fabulous, Homer. Stores throw the best parties. Homer: You like parties, huh? Well, I just remembered they're having a big one down at the waterfront this weekend. Marge: You didn't remember that. You just saw it on TV. Homer: The important thing is I didn't imagine it.
  16. apparently that's what the pub is calling their servers on those nights!
  17. Yeah, I can't see the Devils or the Islanders boarding a plane for a game at Madison Square Garden.
  18. With low temperatures in the minus 20s forecasted for Friday and Saturday nights, this will be a perfect night to keep warm in a cozy pub with some smokin' tunez!
  19. The should have let the *fans* vote on this issue.
  20. Go with "Crack Spider's Bitch" and be done with it.
  21. Does your office have "Commando Fridays"? (as opposed to "Casual Fridays")
  22. i,d like to start a popo weenie appreciation thread i don,t claim to know her but she did call in to a radio show that bouche and i hosted and won a prize her poor punctuation and her off-the-wall postings really brighten my day
