Watched the Sens/Sabres game last night over at a buddy's place. He's been a Habs fan since the Jean Beliveau days. After the Sens victory, I asked him if he was going to stay up late and watch the Habs/Oilers game. "Nah.... I don't think so". The Habs have fair-weather fans. Confirmed.

Ha! I ate a lot of "Mac's Snacks" which were truly awful. My shift was 11pm -> 7am, I did that for a summer. Sometimes I ate that food just out of pure boredom. The boss allowed us one free Mac's Snack per shift.

When I used to work nightshift at a convenience store, on my nights off I would "sleep in" until around midnight, then commence drinking shortly thereafter. Does that count?

Received my tickets in the mail the other day. Very impressive looking ducats too - not your generic ones.

It would be nice if he played the Tulipfest, but probably won't happen - they can't charge $200 a ticket.

Normally I'm very cynical about awards shows and the like, but I thought the Grammys made for very entertaining television. Radiohead with that drum ensemble was awesome.

By the same token Booche, I went to some Habs games in Montreal in 2002 that were sparsely attended. Fair-weather fans are everywhere.

Several of the 17,297 in attendance must have dressed up as empty seats. Seriously, there was tons of room to stretch out last night. They were passing out the free rub & tug coupons last night.
