Anyone watching? I lost interest in the all-star game about 25 years ago. I find the pomp and circumstance surrounding the event somewhat entertaining, and it's great that they're tying it in with les Canadiens 100th anniversary and all that, but I likely won't watch the game. I'd rather watch (for example) a Phoenix vs. Columbus regular season game than the all-star game.

Whatever dude. That he doesn't say "new-kew-lar" alone places his legacy head and shoulders above GWB's.

One thing unusual about last night's game from my perspective: all the goals and most of the offence occurred in the end opposite to where I was sitting.

Despite the home team loss, it was an exciting game to attend. Surrounded by boisterous 'abs fans. At first they were obnoxious but later turned friendly. How was the shaker at Booche's?

I was skiing yesterday at Tremblant. Helmetless. I'm going to get one, following the advice in this thread.

So, let me get this straight - people are wearing helmets to be safe, but listening to tunes while skiing or boarding? That strikes me as being rather unsafe!

Well I finally bought a box of these PC mac-a-cheezee thingies from Loblaws. Cooked 6 of them on the BBQ along with a hamburger. Drowned them in ketchup. Unfortunately they were not as good as I had expected. The breading had a taste not unlike that of cheap fish sticks. Thumbs down! (That said, I won't let this box go to waste.)

So none of those rumoured dates were correct! I'm going to the Susquehanna Bank Center June 7th.

Yeah, I guess the TFSA is a better option if you're using that account to save money for a big ticket purchase in the near future. The intention of RRSPs as I'm sure you know is that you withdraw that money when you have no other income (that is, when you're retired). The tax savings of RRSP contributions is beneficial right away. Ideally what I'd like to do is maximize my RRSP contributions and put the tax savings into an TFSA.
