there is nothing wrong with asking face value for a ticket. scalpers asking double, i could understand being mean to them. regular people and friends asking face, not so much.

i agree with POG....last year (diff. place i know) there was not only the "guest list" but the promoter list which seemed like it had thousands of people on it. the only reason we got in to the show was begging because we drove 4 hrs from ottawa. i wouldn't risk a long drive with no ticket and if i go i'll get there early! course i don't know shit about these JD people.... mmmm JD...

well it definitely wasn't first-come first-served, as i signed myself up, then signed up velvet. he got a pass and i didn't! if he doesn't go, i might be looking to guest in with somebody as they are NOT transferable (according to the thingy)

only in ottawa. :eye roll: i did not enjoy this metallica show nearly as much as my last one, but maybe i'm just getting old they seemed a lot cheesier. my highlights were master of puppets, nothing else matters... i would not pay to see them again soon though. should have been on the floor for sure though.
