  2. While Burma supporters and activists in Canada are preparing various activities and events on the 2nd anniversary of ‘Saffron Revolution,’ CBC, the national TV network, is to air the related documentary – Burma VJ: Reporting from a Closed Country - on September 28 evening. 5. booo...ricky is the funniest, that's too bad deranger. well i still can't wait to see it, but i'll try not to have high expectations.
  6. i don't know much about this, and i never get flu shots so likely won't get this one either. but it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me for the govt. and related health agencies to practice/ready themselves for a pandemic (of any sort, not necessarily h1n1). if something happens and we are not ready, well everyone is going to lay blame. don't we want our country to be ready for this type of problem, should it happen in future?
  7. i haven't been to chinatown in ages, like years. we should meet for lunch there sometime
  8. my favourites though were the little mushroom shaped cookie bites (dipped in choc or strawb), you will know by the package!!

  12. if you can buy the noodles somewhere then it's super easy to make these...they were cold, CCC? just soy sauce, wasabi, a little seaweed. if anyone knows a good japanese food shop in ottawa, please post... the only place i know is the korean shop on bank & catherine.
  13. haha that was me i wanted to hear door by the river, but since he's from vancouver i guess i had the fraser river in my mind (which is the name of a kevin breit tune i think). anyway, i love door by the river, it gets stuck in my head all day sometimes! CR then proceeded to misquote a neil young title and make a rather unsuccessful comparison to neil, so i didn't feel too bad, hehe
  14. hehe, that sounds exactly like me, i must say!
