Direnzo's was pretty good and very fresh, pretty much the same sammies I would make at home. The Istanbouli chicken shawarma was very good, definately glad I got the large (nothing really compares to Jimmy's size) Shawarma Palace, fail. However, I did just make my Heady Space burgers tonight, I suspect Velvet burger fans would drool over these bad boys. Thanks for the tips freaks.

You obviously haven't meant me. Istanbouli was hands down better than Shawarma Palace, definately had to go for the large size though. The Palace had so much chicken rammed on that metal rod that it was bound to be dry, which it was.

I just ate at the Shawarma Palace on Rideau. I tried a beef and a chicken shawarma. The beef was ok, the chicken was horrible. Might try out Istanbouli tomorrow.
