  1. Let them die peacefully in their sleep.
  2. +1 for enjoying lucky louie It was way funnier than two and a half men but it was on HBO. Had it been on a network we wouldn't have to hear about Charlie as much - but wouldn't likely have the same awesome Louis CK to laugh at.
  3. What's wrong with Bassnectar?
  4. No offense to anyone personally, but that's not very inspirational. Can't say that I'm any 'better' but with our potential, privilege, and Common Law rights, the 'Average' Canadian could easily be a lot more interesting and forward-moving.
  5. that has Alex Jones written all over it, Ollie.
  6. I recommend you also be in touch with Scott at Axe and you shall receive. He sells gear out of his home (or did when i was there years ago) but if there's something comparable to what you're looking for (whatever that is) then he'll point you right to it. axeandyoushallreceive.com
  7. FWIW, the 2880 requires a special foot control pedal to be used with your feet. Another hundred (or more) bucks. It's a pretty slick unit if you can get the old big SD flash memory that it uses. The first loop recorded sets the total loop length though. Great for fading in and out loops.
  8. They're playing Centerpointe Theatre in Ottawa at the end of the month. Anybody into it?
  9. If you want a full featured looper this seems to be worth trying, but for not much more you could get a Line6 M9 - which is every one of their modeller pedals with twice the loop time of the DL4, plus you can stack effects on effects from different models. Do you NEED minutes worth of looping time or do you want a full feaured processing tool that can get you most of the way to awesome tone? Are you looking to set up a whole song worth of backing tracks? Do you need an XLR input for a vocal microphone? the JM4 hasn't really taken off as a popular looper. I don't know why but there's gotta be a good reason. Maybe there are better options for less money or on a smaller footprint and better interface/menus, but I'd say you should at least try it to see if it works for you. Maybe it will and you won't want to always look for something better.
  10. It's only a matter of time before the next big one hits.
  11. Me. I already have enough of my own.
  12. chances are your cartridge and stylus are one piece. Not necessarily expensive and a lot easier to deal with than fiddling with little screwdrivers. Good luck, Bouche.
  13. finally. I've been whining that they should have been doing this for years...amongst other things. If the I/O is ample on this and if it can multitask well then the iPad would be great for musicians. Sequences/backing tracks AND lighting/video control AND control surfaces for soft synths or record and edit on the road/in your local hangout/livingroom/front porch. I'm glad they fit more into this early version of garageband than I'd been whining for. Here's to apple working flash into the iPad so we could use it with audiotool.com.
  14. How do you know? Do you have his birth certificate? Charles Michael Levine Birth certificate...rich.
  15. No slur. Dude pretends his name is Chuck.
  16. http://ubroadcast.com/channel/the_woods_studio Soundcheck's on.
  17. Certainly questionable in a different scope , T. One can opt to not swear on the bible/to God in our courts. Something tells me there aren't the same freedoms and respect for personal truths in countries deeply rooted in Islamism.
  18. Any nation that holds Islam up as a political system seems questionable and not only because the islamist movement is not a united one.
  19. I'd have been into it if school weren't a priority.
