my biggest beef working with the card is people not knowing their pins or even knowing they need a pin for their credit... they think a simple swipe of the ancient method to take an imprint of the card should suffice.

once stores switch over to the chip system for credit then you will not be able to swipe. if you have a chip card for debit and want to swipe it will not accept it, only the chip. been working with the technology for the last year and its funny to hear just how many people are skeptical. All stores and banks are supposded to have their users transferred to the new system by 2011.

The thing I remember most when I first joined the board was Booche telling me to make sure I didnt tell anyone about it as it was going to simply be a small Ottawa community type thing and we didnt want it to get too big... I can see what you are trying to do for sure Hal but come on, we did vote, expressed our interest/ disinterest... now lets keep it the same and move on... the draft is this week.
