  1. I think the problem is that you linked to the page the image is on, and not the image file itself. Congrats! Aloha, Brad
  2. Does said nation include Leafs fans Torontonians? Aloha, Brad
  3. You'd get my vote if you performed music (maybe one new song per week) in your campaign commercials. Aloha, Brad
  4. And conveniently, paper ballots make their own paper trail Two paper trails, actually: there's a tear-off strip on the ballots, which gets torn off (just before you deposit your marked ballot) and placed in a separate container. My guess is that if there's thought to be any problem with the ballots that are found in a ballot box, the ballots in the box can be compared to the separately collected "receipts." Aloha, Brad
  5. Yet another jambase article on The Secret Machines Aloha, Brad
  6. Jebas. Page through the shots at http://www.rtaylorguitars.com/Woods-Backs-Sides.aspx and http://www.rtaylorguitars.com/Woods-Tops.aspx Aloha, Brad
  7. I'm joining Party Davey Boy. Aloha, Brad
  8. How about a studio-raising? We could have it on Oct. 31, so we wouldn't look totally weird dressed up in all that Amish gear. Aloha, Brad
  9. JEOMK. Will those of us in Ottawa have any opportunities in the near future to see and hear you play it? Aloha, Brad
  10. The August 17, 2008 show by Chameleon Project at this year's Camp Bisco is now available for download: http://www.archive.org/details/chameleonproject2008-08-17.sbd.flac16 (Note that I didn't record this, the band did; they asked for my help in getting it tracked and uploaded, and I was glad to be of assistance.) Enjoy! Aloha, Brad
  11. I just tried http://www.elections.ca/scripts/pss/FindED.aspx?L=e and, for my postal code (in Ottawa-West Nepean), it worked fine. You can also call Elections Canada at 1-866-256-2873. I voted today. Aloha, Brad
  12. According to http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:fnfpxqugld0e~T2 the credits on the record are Aloha, Brad
  13. In case anybody misses the other thread about the set list: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=519262 http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=519264 http://www.musicwebtown.com/wklitz/217613 Aloha, Brad
  14. No problem. I'm a member of taper's message board, and they have a section for newly-set-up torrents and LMA uploads, and those two torrents popped up between my last log-in last night and my breakfast reading. (Apparently there were at least seven rigs running in front of the board, so there may be more torrents to come.) Aloha, Brad

  16. Note that there's a well-known concept in economics called guaranteed minimum income, that I've even seen conservative political/economic commentators* endorse. The Green Party platform uses the term Guaranteed Livable Income, but it sounds similar. Aloha, Brad * John Crispo, if I recall correctly.
  17. It's not the part of the "Archives" releases, but jambase is reporting that a 1968 Neil Young solo show is scheduled for a Nov. 25 release date. Aloha, Brad
  18. It's not the "Archives" release, but jambase is reporting that a 1968 solo show is scheduled for a Nov. 25 release date, which closely matches the Nov. 23 "Chinese Democracy" releatse date. Aloha, Brad
  19. I think I finally figured out who Sarah Palin reminds me of when she talks: the "Church Lady" character who used to be on Saturday Night Live. I think it's the way Palin's speaking voice cadences. Aloha, Brad
  20. I checked http://bt.etree.org/?searchs=&cat=176 (I wish bt.etree.org had a way to short torrents by the date of the show) and found 2006-10-08, from New York, NY 2006-10-22, a solo acoustic show from Denver, Colorado 2006-10-31, from Austin, TX 2006-11-02, from Memphis, TN 2006-12-09, from Ventura, CA 2006-12-10, from Los Angeles, CA 2006-12-27, from Washington, DC 2006-12-28, from Boston, MA 2006-12-29, from Albany, NY Aloha, Brad
  21. I'd love to see us not only trying to decide on what to eat, but trying, first, to decide what the fair process would be by which we would decide on what to eat First pass the potatoes! Aloha, Brad
  22. Why is Piper even on the campaing trail? Shouldn't she be in school? Aloha, Brad
  23. Did you catch The Club Love Love Club Cult? If so, what'd you think of them? Aloha, Brad
  24. You wouldn't want to see them. (I screwed up cutting the pocket into the chop, overcooked one side, undercooked the other, and didn't let the potatoes cook for long enough. The squash and chardonnay weren't bad.) Aloha, Brad
