    Nero Tickets

I'd think 10pm would be fine. You might miss part of Elbeejay, but you won't miss any nero. (I'm planning on being there for 9pm at the latest, to get set up to record everything, including Elbeejay.) Aloha, Brad
  6. According to http://www.jambase.com/headsup.asp?storyID=9687 TV On The Radio will be playing two Canadian dates on their upcoming tour: Aloha, Brad

    Calendars!

Are only admins (e.g., you, AD) allowed to add events? If so, how would someone like me get an event added to a city's calendar? It also looks like the calendar only covers January (currently), with no way to look at February or other months after January; will that feature be added? Aloha, Brad

    salvia

Whenever I read about this stuff, I always figure there are some really stoned/stupid/dyslexic people out there collecting their own (and others') spit to use in a bong... Aloha, Brad
  9. Couldn't you just be a bit* irresponsible? Aloha, Brad * I was going to say "a bit more", but that's insultingly presumptuous...

    The Great One

The Great One (the original great one) has not yet had his picture in this topic. Aloha, Brad
  13. "Bread unleavened in 2007." I have a distinct memory of overhearding that on NYE (and actually scrawled it down), but have no idea what the context was. Aloha, Brad
  14. Did you see any tapers there? Aloha, Brad
  15. Dr_Evil_Mouse and Calamity Jane gave me a ride from THAT PLACE to the mall across the street from my place. With a backpack full of gear and a mic stand, I managed a precarious walk/slide/shuffle across Carling Ave., up my laneway, and across my driveway, all while remaining remarkably vertical. And then I tripped coming through my front door. Miraculously, I wasn't hurt, and I managed to safely end up in bed. Aloha, Brad
  16. The Sunday, December 31, 2006 NYE show by Burt Neilson Band at Mavericks in Ottawa is now available for download: http://www.archive.org/details/bnb2006-12-31.oktava.shnf Enjoy! Aloha, Brad

  18. How dare you post so coherently after I've only had one nap? (Thanks for the ride! ) Aloha, Brad
  19. "No Quarter"..."Bellboy"... Closing the door, turning out the lights*, Brad * Which I almost spelt as "lighjts"...
  20. I'd think 10:00pm was pretty early. Work backwards: assume the second set goes until 2:00am, and is an hour and a quarter; that means the second set will start about 12:45am. Add in half an hour for set break, that means the first set will be over about 12:15am. Again, assume the first set is an hour and a quarter; that means it (and the show) will start about 11:00pm. (The ticket says "two huge sets.") Edit to add: I plan on getting there well before 9:00pm, though, to get a good spot and get set up. Aloha, Brad
  21. I haven't heard that it's sold out, I'd guess there'll be tickets at the door, but I wouldn't want to get there later than really early if I were counting on getting one. My ticket says the doors open at 8pm. Aloha, Brad

    Hi from NYC

It was made available via BT very early this morning: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=502926 Aloha, Brad
  23. I think he meant "latency", which is how long it takes to get data off the hard drive. Lower latency = faster response (better). Aloha, Brad
  24. I think you could do it in two steps: first, run the command and redirect the output to a text file C:\some directory> chkdisk > chkdisk.txt The "> chkdisk.txt" is the re-direct part; it makes the output of the command go into a file instead of being dumped to the command window. I used "chkdisk.txt" as an example, but you could name the file whatever you want. Then, open up "chkdisk.txt" in, say, notepad (the file will be in the same directory as you were in when you can the command), which'll let you view and/or print. Aloha, Brad
