I just bought a bunch of lobsters for $5.99/lb. I don't know if prices are this cheap everywhere, but I'm stoked to find such a good deal on my favourite food!

I'm not so sure it was the Liberals who forced the election. If Harper governed from the middle and played ball then we could have carried on for a few more years with the status quo. Instead, with the blatant disregard for parliament he showed, not to mention a budget he knew would not get passed by the opposition, Harper forced the election at a time that he thought would most benefit his party. The fractured left was not ready for this election.

Pretty simple stuff- Grilled salsa. Grilled up tomatoes, garlic, onion, jalapenos, green onions. Put it in the food processor in batches (first the garlic and jalapenos, then pulsed in the tomato). Chopped the onion by hand and mixed it up. Added some fresh lime juice, salt and pepper and a touch of honey. I would have added cilantro, but Erin hates it- so I threw in some parsley to keep it fresh.

Hi Team! I just found out I'm supposed to make some sort of salsa for a baby-shower on the weekend. I have a solid guacamole recipe, but don't have much of a Mexican repertoire. If anyone can suggest a recipe that I can purchase everything for tomorrow and make by Saturday morning, I would appreciate it.

I have to agree. There just hasn't been anything that wows me or even inspires me. Some of the stuff they make on the US top chef really makes me want to try cooking it, learn new techniques or just makes me plain old hungry! I also don't feel any sense of connection to any of the contestants on the Canadian edition.

That looks like a ton of fun and pretty close to home. Bummed I'm gonna miss it.

I would be very excited to see this line-up playing down town Toronto! I think there is lots of music that I would enjoy night after night. Ottawa is very lucky to have this level of entertainment coming to your doorstep.

I kind of feel the same way, although I do own one. It's not like I'm up to no good, but it is more on principal. There are instances where I don't mind checking in and being tracked- like when I am working and cold calling restaurants, it's cool the phone can show me where I am and suggest other places near by that might be worth checking in to. However, I would rather "opt in" and be tracked voluntarily then have a constant record of my movements that are available to everyone and for reasons I might not necessarily approve of.
