  1. I've always dug Aida's on the corner of Bank and Arlington near the 417.
  2. You sure did! Enjoying a Killahoe Sunrise or something like that with my wife, Dalton and his Dad... killing some time before soundcheck and sushi. The shows were great... I dig the 'new' Maverick(s). Now... off to rock with the Hip in Kingston on Saturday!!!
  3. 11:30 says my advance sheet. See ya soon then.
  4. Just got into town... heading over for soundcheck in a few minutes. Gonna be a fun few nights!!
  5. Yay! I'm super excited to play this one... I've heard nothing but good things about these gigs.
  6. I've been diggin the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It's Blitz.
  7. We actually have those on the stage for these Buckcherry shows. They're used to block out signals that interfere with wireless devices, such as wireless guitar rigs and in-ear monitor systems. I'm not sure what they're called... but I know they make a huge difference in cutting out strange radio stations from showing up in your signal. I didn`t think they`d played Bonnaroo either... oh well.
  8. We just had a guitar tech for the first part of this tour we're on who turns out to be a major heavyweight in the industry. He's teched for Lou Reed, Slayer (for 6 years!), Norah Jones, Hanson, Jonas Brothers, John Lee Hooker, and countless others. So we've been getting stories out of him, and we find out he's teched for Arcade Fire. So we of course ask if they were dicks, and if he'd heard about what Wayne Coyne said. He says "Oh... you mean at Bonnaroo? There were some stage issues there..." but the band was nice and good to their crew too. Ad he said Wayne Coyne is also one of the sweetest guys he's ever met, and can't imagine him actually bad mouthing someone. Interesting to hear it from the 'inside'.
  9. Zut!! That's fuckin nuts. What are they gonna do with that thing?? They're huuuuge. Would've sucked to be sleeping on it when they broke in...or woke up in their chop shop. Yikes!
  10. woo hoo!! can't wait to play these shows. As far as I know, they're acoustic shows too... I'll be bringing my accordion!
  11. Saint John... the festival is about half an hour from there. Dunno about transpo.
  12. I'm very happy to announce I just booked BNB for the 2009 Sunseekers Ball. We played the first one, years back... and it's also been much too long since we've ventured East. Can't wait! Festival Website
  13. I'm not sure where, as I'm in the midst of moving, but I have a live Downtime show from early 2002 at The Comfort Zone from when I was in the band... I'll see if I can find it and upload it.
  14. Happy birthday Chris!!! Hopefully catch up with you this summer!
  15. From what I've heard, they're announcing the lineup soon.
  16. Nice! Wish I could've seen some of these shows.... and I hope "The Waiting" was inspired by me lending him the Tom Petty documentary. Hope tomight's show made last night's show seem like an exgir... well... Mike knows where I'm going with this.
  17. Where will you be once you've formed, and the preforming process is complete?? Have a good one Mike... and remember what I said about the jugs. Keep applying that every night until you have chest pains.
  18. Hey! I was in Cleveland friday night!
  19. In Vail, Co last week. Watched it a few times on the bus between cities. It's really inspiring and put together quite well...
  20. I just saw this last week and absolutely loved it! I've never been a huge fan of Tom's... I liked him... but just never really got into it that deep. But this documentary is just fantastic... one of the best music DVDs I've ever seen, and now own. Do yourself a favour and check it out. Eddie Vedder singing "The Waiting" in the bonus features is worth the price alone.
