    Grammys

Rock album of the year? Coldplay? Come on.... at least give the award to a Rock band. My vote woulda been with Kings of Leon.

    Good choice.

Ugg. I always seem to forget every year that the Grammys is 'pair up unlikely artists together' fest.... which is kinda gross. There's absolutley no reason to see Al Green on stage with Keith Urban.
  5. Boooo. I just realized that Thursday is the 12th... thus I have a gig in Detroit. Have a good one... I look forward to seeing you playing with Andrew, good sir. Hopefully soon too!
  6. First off... I'd love to borrow your time machine. There's some things in November 2009 I'm just dying to do. And seeming as I can't make it to any of your gigs next week, I figured I'd go to them tomorrow and save time. What? Looks like a fun run. Don't forget your toothpaste.
  7. Sweet! Hopefully I'll make it out for this. A-rod rules.
  8. You see... bail should ALWAYS be included with free booze.... it just makes sense. Although I don't know if jail time would be he worst of it... The guys were telling me about his bodyguards from a few years ago, and how they watched them destroy some heckler after a gig, and how quick they could make you lose conciousness, after demonstrating on a none too willing guitar tech. One guy's name was Razor or something like that...
  9. As tempting as it is.... I wouldn't want to tarnish my 'good guy image'. And besides.... from what I've heard of the bodyguards he keeps at his side, it probably wouldn't be a 'good idea' on my part. hehe.. I probably could shoot him with a laser pointer during the broadcast though! Right in the eye!
  10. Yes! I'll get to see Nickleback perform at the awards gala at least... We're prety glad to have got these nods too. Regardless if we win anything... I hear it a grrreat party.
  11. Sly & The Family Stone - Small Talk (1976) This ruled my turntable for many years...still does in fact!
  12. I'm playing a Trews gig at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo on the 13th.
  13. There's a clip of sing your heart out.... and youtube has most of the new stuff up there too.
  14. Aerosmith - Rocks (1976) Side one "Back in the Saddle" (Steven Tyler, Joe Perry) – 4:40 "Last Child" (Tyler, Brad Whitford) – 3:26 "Rats in the Cellar" (Tyler, Perry) – 4:07 "Combination" (Perry) – 3:39 Side two "Sick as a Dog" (Tyler, Tom Hamilton) – 4:12 "Nobody's Fault" (Tyler, Whitford) – 4:25 "Get the Lead Out" (Tyler, Perry) – 3:43 "Lick and a Promise" (Tyler, Perry) – 3:05 "Home Tonight" (Tyler) – 3:18
  15. Yeah... being simply an accoridonist for this gig... I'm only on stage for about half the show. The rest of the time.... I'm drinking!
  16. Great video! I didn't realize that was you either Mike... haven't seen you in years.
  17. My good friend, and basically the guy who taught me how to play keys, Darryl Lahteenmaa, was playing keys for this! Too bad I missed it...
  18. Multi track recording and a 5 camera video shoot both nights! The warm up shows were great... this weekend should turn out well.
  19. Lucky Day is a good tune... but yeah, I completely agree with Lefsetz on the current state of Bruce.
  20. WOW! Hilarious... I guess Bob noticed as well. He's a little harsh on the serious rock n roll contribution that KISS made to the world... but maybe I've just been playing with the Trews too long, eh? Thanks Scott.
  21. A couple warm up gigs for some shows we're recording at the end of the week in Toronto. It's an acoustic show, with me on accordian for most of the show and a lot of tunes that haven't been on the setlist in a while or ever! We've been rehearsing the last few days, and I gotta say it's sounding great and it's good fun. I expect we'll hit the stage around 10ish. Tuesday Jan 27 The Casbah Hamilton, ON Wednesday Jan 28 Montreal House Peterborough, ON
  22. Outlaw Pete sounds suspiciously like "I was made for loving you" by KISS.
  23. Fly Burt...Ah.... close enough for our bio!!
  24. Did we? I know I did... with Jeffrey, Gavin and Jermemy, backing up Ben Kaplan in London at the Embassyopening for Merl. Did BNB ever play with Merl? I can't recall. I don't remember playing with the Ominous Seapods either. Shit...
