  1. I've never been in there before, but we're doing a walk through of the studio on Thursday to check it out and figure out the setup. From what I know, the sound in there is immaculate. Glad you got tickets! We're really looking forward to this one - the acoustic show is quite fun. See you then!
  2. Yes! I'm glad this worked out... I love sharing the stage with the Fatties! Glad we were able to squeeze another one in.

    Pull My Finger!

Mike, that's very fuckin cool man. Good work.
  4. It's supposed to be 10C tomorrow as well! Glad this show is finally here... see y'all tomorrow!
  5. This came up real quick! I had a BLAST playing with CJam in November - haven't had enough chances to do that this year - so I'm extra looking forward to doing it again... with Mark there too!!!
  6. I haven't been to one yet... but Jer tells me it fills up REAL quick. Go early if ya do.

    jamcruise?

No doubt man. That seems like the PERFECT way to take in a bunch of killer bands. I am 100% jealous.
  8. Yeah... but if you're hung over again this year... then that totally paves the way for them to expect it next year. Future planning....
  9. Ouch... poor Vic. Lookin forward to tonight!! We're donating pretty much all we make at this gig to the Daily Bread Food Bank. The guys have done this charity show now for the past many years on boxing day in Antigonish, but we've moved it to Toronto this time around. Come out and support a great cause. We're on at 10:30.
  10. While I did have stacks and stacks and stacks of disks of games for my C64 (I used to cut an extra tab on the other side of the disk to make them double sided!), I also briefly got into programming in basic. I wrote a few 'games' that were more like 'choose your own adventure' books. When the 128 came out, I desperately wanted one... I don't really know why - the 128 side of the computer seemed kind of useless to me. I remember my printer too.. an MPS 801 dot matrix. It took 7 slow sweeps across to complete one line!
  11. Playing Fort Apocolypse right now... almost at Crystaline Caverns.... But what's really doin for me right now is... Paradroid! http://paradroid.sourceforge.net/
  12. LOAD"*",8,7 I just downloaded a C64 emulator!!! You can find pretty much any game you can remember online for download. Now to just get me one of them old Atari joysticks with the red button on the left side.....
  13. You bet! I recall always trying to get to some kind of restricted area on the computer that I guess I thought had all kinds of secret codes or something. Or the teacher's answer book or something. Maybe I just watched Wargames too many times. Here's the other computer we always had in the back of the class... mainly for playing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego or Westward Ho. The Commodore Pet!
  14. Oh no! You actually came to the gig?? Ah well... It was lots of fun. Always good to play with Mike. Bring on the 27th!
  15. Now I feel stupid. Here I am giving you all this 'cred' for not changing your face... and it turns out you have.
  16. By 'that face' you mean your own face, right? I'd say that's not really a lack of originality but a strong dedication to the use of your own face for purposes such as.... putting it on a dancing elf. And I resepect that kind of commitment... really, I do. To be commintted to your face is a rare thing these day... especially when you can change your face. And I mean... who wouldn't want to? You. You wouldn't want to. And like I just said, I have a certain amount of respect for that. Not an endless amount, mind you. There are limits. I do have limits!!
