PhishyK
hey Lynn - you did a good thing, and you should be proud of yourself. Even though it was awful and difficult, it could be a gift.

Ms.Huxtable
Wow Lynnie, I'm so proud of the kind of person you are. You are amazing. It's hard to say what we would do if faced with this kind of situation, but the world can always count on you to make good choices. You've demonstrated that so many times. You're an angel. Jaimoe
I just heard about this. This is tramatic, but you know what? If it were me in the accident, I'd feel blessed that one Lynn Bouchard, comforted me when I needed it the most.

scottieking
Lynn, take solice in the fact that even trained professionals get shaken by these situations. My mom, a registered nurse, was first on the scene to a bad accident and I remember it rattling HER for a day or so (remember that, Sunshine?) arcane
To paraphrase my driving instructor: "If you get into an accident, it's okay to get out of the car, go to the side of the road, and do the chicken dance. After all, someone just tried to *kill* you with 3000 pounds of screaming metal." Not quite the same thing here, but close enough. You did good, and it's okay to be freaked out.
