I'm loving this new video/DVD production software, loads of fun. Heres my first transfer project:

A short, very rare mini-doc made in 1992, now freshly transfered & authored from original VHS to DVD.

Canadian Feaver

Portrait Of A Genuine Canadian

Runtime: 9:45

An Andrew Nisker Film

Featuring Doug Feaver

Doug Feaver, entertainer, singer songwriter is the last of the great Canadian folk artists. Unlike today’s made for MTV talents, Doug performs his craft the old fashion way, he writes and performs his material himself.

Driving a 65 International Harvester pick-up truck, sporting a pair of faded jeans and armed with weather beaten guitar, Doug has ventured from his home of Grimsby, Ontario, and toured the entire country. He has seen the troubles in the Maritimes, and the farmer’s dilemma in the prairies. His song "Buffalo Grass" is a maudlin portrait of a heritage neglected but not yet forgotten. Doug's songs show that he has a cleaner understanding of the national character than any politician.

Playing dusty hotels and smoky bars filled with steelworkers, farmers and the unemployed, Doug has the people's hopes, desires and dreams. These personal aspirations are brought forth in his music and allow his audience to experience what he has through his travels.

nero 2003-08-29, from moe.down. For some reason (maybe because there's only FLAC files available, and I usually just download MP3s at work), I hadn't downloaded and listened to this one before, but man, this sounds good. It comes rip-roaring out of the gate, with a throng of cheering fans along for the ride from the git-go.

How many days until Jan 12, 2007?

Aloha,

Brad
