Whitey
Solid effort and a nice win for the Leafs. Something positive in a very negative situation. Did anyone see JFJ during the 2nd intermission last night? Good on him for doing the interview, that definately takes some balls. I also really liked his answers, they were straight to the point and he was very honest and up front. Hal Johnson
I take back everything I said about JFJ.
Kanada Kev
I give credit to JFJ for doing that interview. He has still fucked up the team with his decisions, but at least he says he takes accountability. When was the last time that Peddie or Tannenbaum agreed to an interview like that? I didn't think that it was a very good game by either team. While you take a win any way you can get it, in no way did it make me any more confident about the Leafs. Gotta love the way they allowed it to end up a one goal game too Kaberle's goal was pretty sweet, but the rest were pretty ugly. Leafs D looked like shit as usual. dave-O
I wonder if Cliff Fletcher got on that plane to Mexico this morning?
Hal Johnson
And to think, we had this giant discussion for nothing.

Hal Johnson
Worst thing that could have happened has happened. Two victories in a row. Methinks Buffalo really needs a win though and will maybe put an end to the charade.
Booche
I love that the Leafs won two in a row. Now the pressure’s off, they don’t have to make any moves!!!
badams
LOL Neither win was overly convincing at all. The moves are coming. Though there is a nice lull in the air right now

Kanada Kev
They had to go and win a game on LeafsTV ... damn! Bruins down 8 players and had their third goalie in and they had to get to a shootout to win it? Pfaw! Blow it up ... blow it up REAL GOOD! Hal Johnson
You know what? this all started from not signing Stumpy back when the lock-out ended. I know thats in direct contradiction of everything we've been talking about, but I've just got this gut feeling. If Stumpy had a been here, everything would be fine. PassedOutGuy
Im calling a Leafs three game winning streak after tonight... i think Buffalo scored all the goals in their tank last night beating Atl 10-1...
Hal Johnson
Good call man! Poor Sabres though - they've still got a fairly decent team, but I cant understand whats wrong with them at all.

rubberdinghy
Only switching out the GMs right now isn't going to make any sort of significant difference...you think they are gonna let Fletcher have his way.
Hal Johnson
All he needs to do is get something better for Sundin than, say, Brandon Bochenski , and his work here will be done, and he will be a success. badams
According to reports I read it was stated Fletcher would not take the position unless he was left alone to do the job. I guess we will have to wait and see what the actual decision is.
