i'm in houston right now, but leaving in the morning.

bring a warm coat, the weather is facked down here.

i don't have any suggestions, i've been so swamped with work that i haven't got out much.

i do know that the Houston Aeros are back from a road trip and are playing a few games in the next week, if you're a hockey fan.

check pollstar for some shows too.

Are you friggin' kidding me?!? Please, hook a sister up! I can just see it now... "Large Marge Rides Again"! Yee-haw! Dare I ask how you know this assuredly endowed fine young cowboy? Think he might be up for riding, er, that's showing a northern gal around town?

ha!

actually he got into the biz by entering a contest, writing a script for a movie starring himself...so i'm not too sure about the endowedness, lol.

he b&p'd me some phish shows about 10 yrs ago and we belong to the same (private) message board. he is a real nice guy. but i've only met him once in person, and it was about 8 yrs ago.

i'll look out for him on the message board and get his deets for ya!

I lived down there for a 'lil stunt while my ex was finishing at Rice and to be honest there's not much to do. Austin isn't too far and is definately a worthwhile quick trip. Also, if you have it in you, it's not a bad launchpad for a very disturbing drive, (picture crazy Anti-Abortion Christian Billboards) but worthwhile trip to New Orleans. I'd do it in a heartbeat to see what the city is like these days. Anyways, there are a lot of cool indie coffeeshops and a decent art scene surrounding them. Otherwise, gourge on BBQ and pretend you love Bush; for your own safety.
