briguy
Wow' date=' a Hamilton date.Wentworth Room? Never heard of it. Anyone know if it is it at the convention centre?[/quote']It is at the Convention Centre. I'm not sure which room it is, though.it's the ground floor room to your left when you walk through the front doors. Holds around 2,000 peopleAnyone know if it's general admission or not? yes, I'm assuming it's general admission. HECFI would never do seated in the Wentworth Room for an event like this. People would die.
briguy
maybe not die but it would be a freakin mess. They should have put them in the Great Hall. That would have been manageable and a very pleasant experience. I'm not a fan of the sound in the Wentworth room

Mr. Photogeek
The Centre in the Square has some of the second tier pricing (I think they were $74) left for sure as of 5 minutes ago (office neighbor just bought a couple).I managed to get some first tier pricing (first 7 rows), but I bought a single on my first go through and then had to go through again for two...faak. Not feeling so bright today...just glad they still had tickets when i went back through!

Mr. Photogeek
I don't know if anyone is planning on going to the Centre-in-the-Square show (Tungsten? ) but I have one extra - I stupidly bought one ticket by itself for the show (meant to buy two so I could take my wife). Anyway, there are a couple of things...1) I would have to meet you at the show. The ticket has to be picked up at the show by the purchaser on the actual day of the show. 2) You wouldn't know exactly where your seat would be except in the first 7 rows. I'm guessing its probably pretty good since I got in right away and then when I realized my mistake I went back to buy 2 more and they were still available... but I won't know the exact seat until I pick the ticket up. No idea what kind of demand there will be for this show in KW, but if you try to get tickets tomorrow and they only have bad seats left, let me know and we can work something out. I'd be willing to knock a few bucks off as well...

Jaimoe
Great great show! The Massey Hall crowd was in impressive form throughout. The band really rocked it out and Joey Santiago was fucking brilliant. Frank's voice has never aged and Kim looked like she was having lots of fun. They did Doolittle justice, and then some. I feel as tired as Kim Deal waking up after a late '80s bender. Edited April 19, 2011 by Guest
