Lineup to be announced next week.

My theory, based on nothing, for the delayed announcement is that they've booked Arcade Fire as headliner but have to wait til after this weekend's arena show to announce. Time will tell if my hunch is correct.

Phish could do July 7.

This won't be the year (as per the dates announced today), but Phish seems like at least a somewhat logical choice for a Bluesfest in the near future. They're typically in the general area in early-mid July, and as the Toronto show last year demonstrated it's not as though they would draw an influx of fans that would be problematic in its size.

Hey, a guy can dream.

On another note, what would be the rule on formal wear if Arcade Fire was booked? Like, would I still have to wear a suit if I was only going to see Tony D?

FWIW, maybe Styx and Foreigner. They showed up in a listing I saw today on an app called Timbre. Not sure where the info came from. Neither band sites show these dates, nor this tour shirt.

Don't forget to check tourshirts ;) Although probably not worth the effort in this case.

Bravo. I'm still sticking with our conversation this afternoon that we're going to need to be tanked to absorb Foreigner->Styx (though like I said, on some level I have a feeling I could enjoy Styx provided I'm stumbly)

Fingers crossed for Beck, White Denim and Neutral Milk Hotel.
