edger
Along that vein, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood are playing for free next Sat. Aug. 11th in Kitchener at their Blues fest. So at least I get a little taste of Neal and Adam that way. First time CRB has come to Canada...actually scratch that I think they played New Brunswick a couple years ago. edger
Looking forward to seeing these CATS along with Greensky Bluegrass this coming Thursday in Albany. Will be a tease to only see a partial show, but haven't seen them live yet so we'll take what we can get.... and with that double bill can't go wrong. Hartamophone
Saw these guys three times last week opening up for Greensky. Great shows, as expected. Funky and playful but just a little bit dark, almost spooky (technical musical term there), and they are all deadly players. They didn't mix up their short setlist at all over the three shows, but that didn't bother me too much as the songs were hardly formulaic. Bottom line: four heady crystals out of five, would recommend (especially for something longer than an opening set).
