bouche
There was some tease-like post on bluesfest's social media about Paul McCartney last week sometime. But that doesn't exclude the possibility of the Ringo Starr all-star band performing instead.
Freak By Night
I wouldn't be surprised if that Tedeschi-Trucks "Wheels of Soul" tour squeezes in a bluesfest appearance.
Velvet
I'm surprised Ringo has never been at Bluesfest - he seems like a perfect fit. I've seen him twice and I'd certainly enjoy seeing him again. That said, I'll take McCartney any day (of course).

Looks like that July 11 TBA date would work just fine.

Northern Wish
Hey at least it isn't a Tour 1998 announcement when you would have expected the show to be flooded with 19 year olds from the US who are there to just get hammered, legally. Personally, I think this is a great booking for Bluesfest!
Booche
Here's a little known fact. Even Dave Matthews hates Dave Matthews music. Some call it the Nickelback of jamband music. Cue'd

Davey Boy 2.0
I heard that they've already requested to park the bus near the river in case there's a need to empty the bus' septic tank. Hopefully his talent doesn't get lost in the process.
Velvet
Their twitter says the lineup will be announced next week.
Velvet
I see Ry Cooder is playing in Toronto in late June. He would be an excellent add to one of the summer Ottawa festivals. Here's hoping for jazzfest.
Hartamophone
Pretty sure Tedeschi Trucks will be on July 11th (same night as DMB). Foo Fighters have a bit of a gap in their schedule before a July 12th Toronto date. Macca would be great but personally I don’t see that happening (he said based on nothing in particular), nor do I think them posting a pic of The Beatles was any kind of a hint. Lineup will drop Tuesday, apparently. Looking forward to it!
Velvet
Maybe Ringo? I hope so. Looking at Jethro Tull's dates I have to think they'll be at the fest on one of the first two days. Again, I hope so.

Davey Boy 2.0
best lineup in some time but there aren't really all that many headliners that appeal to me. DevO
