  1. Yeah, Bonnaroo did the same thing (not sure on the savings) and the line-up ended up being pretty sweet.
  2. Throw Down Your Heart (Tales From The Acoustic Planet Vol 3) chronicles banjo virtuoso and 9 time Grammy award winner Bela Fleck's musical journey to Africa to explore the little known African roots of the banjo. Bela's boundary-breaking musical adventure takes him to Uganda, Tanzania, The Gambia, and Mali, and provides a glimpse of the beauty and complexity of African music. Using his banjo, Bela transcends barriers of language and culture, finding common ground and forging connections with musicians from very different backgrounds. If this album is even half as good as the two previous "Tales from the Acoustic Planet" series or the African Christmas album it should be stellar.

He's lucky we couldn't find any Sharpies or he'd still be explaining himself to his handlers.

We were going to do an audio recording of him itching at his mascara but couldn't get the mics set up in time.
  5. And maybe that's what is stalling negotiations.
  6. Now if they could get the bands to sit down and figure out who was the dumbest. I say Nickelback has to be at the top (I hear Chad Kroger's fingers and toes were webbed at birth like some sort of evolutionary throw-back).
  7. Maybe you need to send in a surly Cargo to do the negotiating.....

I thought you looked ten years younger on Saturday. Have you been working out? ......please don't kill me.
  9. It's a good thing that Schwa heals quicker than Wolverine. I didn't even get a chance to sign the body cast.
  10. Jeff's toes are hairier than this guy's. I suspect it's a Schw-imposter.
  11. Happy Birthday Dad! Now can I get an advance on my allowance?

The people at the door is what keeps me coming back to the Lanc.....well the entrance to the Lanc anyway.

    Thinkin' about it.......
  14. It's a fairly progressive Legion. Last time I was there they had a lesbian Buck and Doe (I think they called it a "Doe and Doe" or something more creative).
  15. If that's Waterloo Ontario it's probably the legion on Regina St. Anyone up for this?
  16. Happy Birthday Margaret. Are you coming out of retirement for the Lanc show next week?
  17. Did he play just old stuff or were there any new songs this time?
  18. I think I did make you and Jeff a copy of this for Christmas. It was in avi format on a disc with another Phish show and possibly mislabled as 10-21-94.
