The first Grateful Dead show I went to featured "I fought the Law" as the encore & I thought it was awesome at the time and still do.

Yeah that can be really rough especially when Phil's voice is not quite up to his usual standards.

While some consider 2007 to be the year of the low five (as evidenced by last year's nero reunion after-party at "that place"), I think 2008 should be the year of the Dangerous High Five. While people have been giving high fives for decades I think it's time to step it up a notch. I'm proposing high fives in the middle of busy intersections, high fives while jumping off the roof etc. It seems Def Leppard is ahead of the times in this department and I salute them. If your high fives aren't dangerous, or at least risky, keep them to yourselves.

I personally can't wait for this show. I have 2 words to describe my enthusiasm: Whoah! Yeah!! (Def Leppard's favorite lyrics).

Seems it has already been pulled. Maybe Schwa can act it out for me after work.

I thought it was cool seeing them play together and thought he fit well with Trey's band. I may have been a bit distracted as Cully and I were giving each other hand-jobs while we watched it.

Heckling certainly ups the ante on this show.

Some of his collaborations are really good though and not the Nickelback or Aerosmith kind. I've got Santana with the Tower of Power & Santana with Trey Band DVDs from the last couple years which show what an awesome player he is and what he is capable of with the right players.

What order are the bands playing?

It's still kinda early to tell. After midnight I kept toasting everyone with "2008; the Year to Quit Beer", which was not very popular at all. Now I've changed it to "2008, Check your Prostate", which is still not very popular.

I heard that this album was pretty good....but then I saw what must be the new single/video the other day which seemed a little cheezy. I assumed it would be more like the bluegrass stuff she does than a combination of their styles.

If we can get a big enough damage deposit together we might just rent a house/room for the week. PM me if you are in!
